Kinda fun. The recharge mechanic was kind of irritating, consider enemies were constantly coming at from all sides, but it made sense with it being an eyeball and all.

That was fun, if a little on the difficult side. The fact that you couldn't see the smallest enemies while recharging really added to the sense of danger.

Really liked it. Honestly, the biggest issue I had was that I expected space to recharge while being held down instead of being a toggle, but that's such a minor thing. Great job. I enjoyed it for longer than I had expected.

Fun game but very challenging. The animations and controls were well done.

I found the recharge system made it a bit difficult as it left you vulnerable and took too long compared to the speed and number of enemies coming at you. The game mechanic of not being able to see anything was clever though. Nice work!

I literally laughed out loud when the planet became the eye-monster.
I like the controls and camera a lot, they flow well.
Graphics are all good.
Gameplay I find a bit weird, and it's a very difficult game. There are a lot of enemies and they come at you very quickly.
On the whole, a great entry. Well done!

Neat. Seems that we had a similar idea. How did you make those sound effects?

Hey guys! Thank you for the feedback!

Yeah, originally you had to hold down the mouse right button to close your eye. I changed it to space because of the Web version (right mouse button shows a menu pop-up). I did test with holding down space, but in the end I thought that just toggling was better.

Perhaps I should increase the recharge rate a little bit for it to become less challenging?

I used Bfxr for all sound effects.

Ok guys, I just figured out that I forgot to tell you in game that you can move using WASD or the Arrows. I'm really sorry!

Just uploaded an update that adds that line of text. That should take care of that difficulty issue.

I had fun with this, but it was hard to keep your head above water early on, perhaps a few enemies at time that are generally increasing in frequency later might have been better, but that's a minor point.

Clever! I like that closing the eye to recharge darkens out all the enemies, since you can't actually see them in that moment. It makes that moment of vulnerability when you have to reload even more tense than usual. Very clever, and very enjoyable!

That was fun!

The recharge mechanic was really neat! Having to choose when to recharge in order to avoid the red wisps made the decision dangerous, but rewarding. The alternative recharge mechanic, the mana drops, complimented it really nicely.

I also found that the difficulty scaled quite nicely with the score.

What a noisy game. This is a lot of fun with all the cool sounds. I like the recharging mechanism. Technically very well done.

Hey again,
I did figure out how to move without the instructions, but I should note that only this time around did I actually figure out that I could hold down the mouse button to fire.
