A Piece of Me by AGausmann
The theme this time around is "You Are the Monster." Instead of thinking about the traditional monsters that we as humans perceive as "scary," I instead defined the word as "deformed."
The backstory is this: A Tetris game glitches, and a pentomino spawns. He proceeds to make a 5-line combo (hint for first level newbs) and enters the computer's memory. He then invents the game of Pentrix by corrupting the Tetris code.
The tools I used (besides Scratch) are GIMP and Ableton Live.
Background music is adapted from a manuscript found here: http://www.gamemusicthemes.com/sheetmusic/gameboy/tetris/
Everything else was made from absolute scratch with some reference from Wikipedia.

Also, I really like that you flipped the beveled edges on the pentonimo relative to the tetronimoes. It helped to make the pentonimo feel even more alien and foreign to this world. It was also useful for gameplay purposes, as it makes it easier to tell the pentonimo apart when it's pressed up against tetronimoes of the same color.
Though the movement was a bit slow and stiff, but otherwise it was great C;
(Also impressive using Scratch)
