Even though this is not COMPO we still did all the assets, code and music by ourselves on within the 72 hours.

----


When we though of the theme, we thought of a disgusting, sticky monster coming out from a water pipe..
Which eventually turned out to be a cute sticky fellow stuck in the water-pipe.

Game physics as puzzle mechanic is always tricky, and specially in a 72 hour window, but it turned out quite ok!

It's a good concept but he often got stuck (jeah that's a pun) when he shouldn't and it prevented me from progressing beyond level 2.

@Birke yeah, definitely the feeling we are looking for.

About the stuck on level 2, I updated the last screenshot to show what you should look for!

Had a lot of difficulty with the controls, sticky-guy movement felt very unpredictable but the concept is very interesting.

I liked the concept, but the controls are not so good... (I personally would be more comfortable with AS for one stick and JK for another). I was stuck on level 2 too.

Oh well, I added some protips on the description, the game is supposed to be hard, but is not unbeatable!

@Fonserbc, the protips helped a bunch. I didn't really realize some blocks were ice and that they were less sticky than normal blocks. I was stuck, but after I knew, it was pretty doable. The physics are a bit iffy.

I enjoyed it though! And I really like the concept. If you ever want to extend it, be sure to look at how Gish did their blob/sticky physics. I think it's quite fitting!

Hurrah for stickyness! I like the concept and it's well executed, though very short.
My main complaint would be the controls though. I'm not sure what the optimal controls would be but I'm sure it could be improved. Maybe dragging the controllable elements with the mouse would work well.

The idea is really cool and innovative.
The game himself need more polish and better controls (w/s is really weird for me, why don't use a/d ?)

Really liked the puzzle idea and the sticky mechanic worked quite well :) was a fun game to figure out.
