Awesome game with a clever use of the concept. Lack of audio is the only thing I would improve.

I really enjoyed the exploding enemies :two_hearts: I wish there was some UI that could show you how long you have before the weapon fires again.

I liked your idea for the game, it was fun. The sound effects and hand-drawn and coloured style really fit well, and were great. Solid game.

Not sure if you guys added audio after Rufus commented, but I did hear some top quality mouth sound effects. Nice game overall, not incredibly original, but I liked the little spicy game mechanic forcing you to kill the "ghosts" with the explosions. Good job!

Interesting idea with enemies who you can't shoot. But game is too short)

The weapon is kind of wimpy, but it makes for a pretty good challenge! One note: your enemies remind me of the [sabre-toothed lime](https://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Sabre-toothed_lime) from Kingdom of Loathing. This was fun!

Nice bite sized gaming experience!

I liked that you went all in on the "home made" assets—the voiced sound effects worked well with that.

Something I would have loved to see would be that the camera would find a sweet spot between following the player and the cursor. I think it would have made the game easier to orient.

Congratulations on making a nice game!

Good and fun game. I like graphics and audio but some ScreenShake is missing when you shoot and destroy gasoline barrel. Otherwise it's a good game, good job !

Nice game! I like the art style, it reminds me of the days of flash and Newgrounds. It kind of feels like every level is a puzzle sometimes with the enemies that have to be killed with the explosive barrels.

Really lovely style, very refreshing after playing about 30 pixel art games haha. I really liked the audio, especially the whistle to tell you when the portal to the next level has opened up. The gun feels a little slow/unresponsive but I suppose it makes the shooting feel more intentional. The bombs are VERY fun but you do have to remember to back away from it. ;)

Super charming graphics and sound, great concept and execution. I like how fast-paced the gameplay is, but without giving that "despair" vibe that is often present in top-down shooters. This is especially welcome in this game as you're able to soak in the theme and awesome visuals while running around. I'm a fan of pixel art, but I also love when people go off the beaten path and experiment with other 2D art styles.

If you're looking to improve the game post-jam, I think it would be a good idea to work on more player feedback when shooting, as right now it feels kind of "slow". A reloading sound or some sort of visual cue to show when the weapon is ready to fire would suffice, I believe.

Overall very good entry, well done!
