Jewellery Journey by Niall_Chandler

[raw]
made by Niall_Chandler for Ludum Dare 48 (JAM)

Find the jewel at the bottom of the ocean, before you drown!

This game for the Ludum Dare 48 Jam. The jam's was 'Deeper and deeper', so I made the game about swimming deep into an ocean cave system to try and obtain a jewel before you run out of breath.

Man this game is Nintendo hard. It's also impressive that you did this with the actual hardware limitations from the 80s rather than just emulating the look. It's really addicting, but I would like to see the levels ramp up difficulty more slowly.

It always blows my mine what people can do on pico-8. This is great, movement is perfect, difficulty is hard but exactly what I would expect. Graphics and audio are really nice as well

Can't say this about many water levels, but the movement in this one was pretty snappy and fun.

Nice! This game is challenging, without being impossible. Some really nice transitions and effects thrown in, the massive blood explosion on death was hilarious.

Plus points for using Pico8 ;)

Super cool game, I didn't go far because I suck and it was hard but I'm sure it must be really rewarding to finish it !

Very cool game, and I'm seriously jealous of what you're able to do in PICO-8! In particular I love the death sound effect, haha, which I... heard a lot while playing this! It reminds me a bit of Flappy Bird but with a far cuter theme and great graphics. I was also really impressed by language options, feels like a ton of thought went into this! Seriously great job!

Cool game, I found it pretty hard though (precision platformers are not my speciality :) ) I really liked the style of the graphics, seeing some different colours from the Pico-8 palette than you normally see. The blood effects when you hit a spike are really over the top, I love it! Some cool level design too, the underwater currents reminded me of the water sections in Super Metroid.

I had a lot of fun playing! I love precision platformers, this was a refreshing challenge amidst the games I've been playing. :D Thanks for making it!

Great game, also HARD AF. I think the second stage should be the first stage. The first one its too hard for a begin. nice graphics and sounds, congrats ;)

That was so stressful and difficult, lol. I finished though! The water physics are well done and I didn't ever feel like it was unfair. Art style is really great too!

This was actually really fun. I would like to see more games that are simple, easy to get into, and that you can just start playing. Well done on this.

Cool game. The hitboxs annoyed me a little but I know it's my fault. I have to adapt to the game and not the other way around. I missed music. Even with the sound limitations of Pico8, you can do a lot of good things. Congratulations on your first LUDUM DARE and congratulations on facing the compo.

Hi guys, if you, like me, were looking for a cool jewelry, then you understand how difficult it is to find a cool and high-quality jewelry manufacturer, but I found it, here is the link https://www.itshot.com/jewelry/chains-necklaces/gold-rope-chains I ordered a chain from them a couple of months ago and I can say with confidence that the materials and workmanship are simply at the highest level, I recommend it!

This is a very interesting game, and thanks to it, I fell in love with jewelry, and now after some time, I have gotten into jewelry making. At first, I was mediocre, but I learned, and now I make christian necklaces https://gloriajewels.com/collections/necklaces-pendants. It turned out pretty good; at first, I gave these ornaments to friends and later started selling them on Instagram. Although I make mostly silver jewelry, I can also make gold to order. You won't believe it, but my business came from this game, for which I am very grateful to the creator.

Good day. I recently searched for some modern and original anniversary rings and I can say that there are so many interesting variants. And it is great that you can order necessary product via internet, usually prices in online stores are lower. Here is [https://www.lettingagenttoday.co.uk/-/2021/8/what-you-should-know-about-anniversary-rings](https://www.lettingagenttoday.co.uk/-/2021/8/what-you-should-know-about-anniversary-rings) useful article about how to choose anniversary rings.
