Into the Mines by Hugison
You have to go deeper into the mines as fast as pssible without crashing your Minecart.
Gravity is your only friend to gain speed. You can just slow down and rotate the Cart.
"Glück auf!" or "Best of luck!"

Since I did not have the time to make a proper tutorial, here is how to play:
Slow down: Space
Rotate Cart: A/D
Restart/Self Destruct: Enter
Reset completely (including checkpints and timer): N

Everything you see and hear in the game is made by myself during the jam. Feedback is appreciated!
Changelog:
- Fixed a bug that the timer would not work correctly when blown up by dynamite. Timer works correctly now.
- Fixed the restart comletely. You can now correctly restart from the beginning with fresh timer.
- Updated path for 3rd dynamite cart so it doesn's get stuck anymore.

The game was challenging and super fun to play! The physics is on point and I liked the twist with the dynamite cart when you have to actually slow down! I think the game has good potential for speedruns.
Great job!
However, at 115m, there is a dynamite cart that drops ahead of me and get stuck on the way, and I can only die... I tried hard to outspeed it, but I can't find a line to do so. Am I missing something ?
Thanks for the feedback! And IO am sorry that you got stuck. I noticed that it is hard to predict the cart behaviour sometimes. The idea with this cart is that you have to slow down and drive behind it until it eventually falls into a pit and you can get past it. And if the dynamite cart gets stuck this is really basd. I have to look more into that. thanks for pointing it out!
Thanks for the detailed feedback! Very much appreciated. I am totally with you with the background and the font. That was all due to lack of time and it does annoy me a lot. Since this is my first physics based game It took so much longer to get everything to work that I had just like one hour for polish in the end.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Tbh this was great, the controls where easy to figure out and use too. Nice job!

Thanks for playing and commenting. Very much appreciated!
I did find the game fun, and was kind of disappointed it ended so quickly but its ludum dare, what can you do epically in these speed focused games
The art and sound is pretty nice, I liked all of that.
Thanks for playing and commenting. Espacially thanks for the suggestions. I will have to play around with the level design a bit more. I also felt that the speed passages could get more focus when playing. But I do also like the slow passages where you have to be careful not to run into the dynamite or to get stuck. If I had more time it probably would be better to do more levels and focus on different things in different levels.
Well thanks for the feedback. Helps a lot!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I am glad you enjoyed it! Interesting that you find it very polished since I felt like I had no time to polish anything apart from the physics. It's nice that you also enjoyed the audio and art.
Overall a very good game!
I recorded my play experience, hope, it will be helpful:
