DeepVirus by LeSaintBiscuit
Introduction
Hello this is my first JAM ever! I hope you'll like this game and its twist.
In DeepVirus, you control a Mouse, your goal is to progress "deeper and deeper" into the computer to find the source of a virus. You will have to find files to examine while avoiding the virus.
The Twist!
The game has a kind of unique mechanic using windows! It supports 1080p and 1440p monitors. If you have a bigger resolution, I would recommend lowering it, though I understand the trouble.
There are 1 tutorial and 9 levels in total, introducing some new mechanics here and there.
How to play
Everything is explained in a tutorial at the beginning. You will be using the SPACE and ARROW keys.
Some Info
- You can move while holding Space, some people miss that
- The game should totally work on Linux (tested with Wine)
- Do not play in fullscreen mode
- If a level is too hard, you can skip it with F1
Final Notes
I did everything by myself (hence the graphics) using GameMaker Studio 1.4. I used https://sfxr.me/ for the sound effects.

(Oh also you should disallow fullscreen with alt+enter, I did that at first and then went back to windowed when I saw the message about window position.)
I did encountered an issue though, as when I loop, the final screen on the right is located too much on the right-hand side:
This caused me many many death as I was chased down from one side, and couldn't see the obstacles on the other.
Other than this, this is a very interesting puzzle game (maybe a bit too hard at times?). Congrats!
