pretty fun, but there wasn't a lot to do while the workmen were working, and so a lot of the game seemed like it was just sitting and watching them clear stuff.

Interesting idea. I found myself really wishing up went... up, and I didn't get pulled back to the boat after every collection.

The current build seems to be a bit buggy. First of all the instruction messages were partially off-screen, and then when I tried moving the archeologist, an alert (!) window popped up saying that an error occurred. I've dumped the browser console output into a pastebin here, in case it helps: https://pastebin.com/bAB0H8S1

It's a shame, because the design looks very intriguing! Due to the issues I ran into I couldn't figure out how it uses the theme, yet.

Ran into a few technical issues playing this one, which is a shame because I really like the idea. I tried a couple of times but each try at least one of my workers lost the ability to work. On my final attempt my archeologist become completely broken when he touched the tank, but even before that his pathing seemed odd as he would try to fit though gaps he apparently could not. I also had some not-great performance and pretty nasty stuttering on the webGL build in some areas (mostly the orange forest), so maybe a windows downloadable version could help there. Love the concept of workers clearing a path deep into the woods, has potential to be a fun game if you can get the bugs worked out.

Interesting game, I like the art and the gameplay.
The game has some bugs, such as workers teleporting together, and it lags very often

@traffle I had planned to add an event that would make the volcano shoot out rocks that the player would have to click to break, something for the future perhaps 😊

@ditam That looks like unity's input system messed up. I'm not sure if I can do anything about that one... 😕

@aevek I haven't been able to figure out why yet, but sometimes the workers will get stuck at specific models with mesh colliders. If you move the work zone around they will eventually select a new target. That bug is at the top of my fix list.

My archaeologist got stuck after about 5 items and I couldn't get him unstuck. WASD controls being at an angle is sort of jarring and probably shouldn't work like that.

Neat idea though

@tiranice I hit that bug and was able to work around it a few times, I think this is a separate bug because I lost the ability to place the blue circle for workers.

This is a pretty chill experience. I liked the idea but didn't get to finish the game because it was a bit too repetitive imho. Also, at one point I lost one of my workman. It would be cool to have a way to locate all of your crew members without having to "scan" the entire map. Good work overall!
