Save Yourself by Open Skies Games
In this game you accidentally become a monster when your spaceship crashes into an otherwise peaceful village. The villagers, simple folk, start to hunt you down as the "monster that attacked our village."

OBJECTIVE:

Escape the village without hurting any villagers. (Every villager you kill will decrease your score by 1000 points.)

CONTROLS:

-Use the Arrow keys to move.
-Use the 'F' key to fire. (You can only fire weapons on Level 2)

NOTES:
-------------------
- You may notice issues when trying to fire (ie. Nothing is happening.) This is due to the script for firing. If you move in the direction that you want to shoot, the issue should be resolved.
- This is OSGS' first Ludum Dare entry. Ever. We're ready for brutal feedback, we expect it. This was our 'Test entry' of sorts. We're looking forward to playing your games.

I love the fact that you have to be nice to the villagers, specially when they are coming for you! The idea is great the tune too!

I like how you sort of inverted the theme so that you were seen as the monster but in actuality you were just trying to get back to your species. Good work :)

Bit short but a pretty solid entry although I found it much easier not to use the gun (since the firing mechanics are a bit buggy).
