This kinda art is absolutely my jam.
The music is also just *chefs kiss*
Would love to see a full release of this sometime.
I think I managed to get stuck, whoops
The art and music are top notch though
PS : I also got stuck behind a skull, could get out after some time
There's nothing I can criticise. More experimentation with lighting would elevate the mood slightly. The puzzles themselves weren't really...puzzle-y? They didn't make you think too much once you got the basic gist of it, but I think that making proper satisfying puzzles takes an unreasonably long time for a jam anyway.
A really brave game I would pay money for if there was a full-version with strong puzzles.
Absolutely loved it.
The music and sound design is again absolutely beautiful, love the final song!
The only improvement I can think of is increasing the speed of the little guy and maybe make the skulls a bit more visible (I know that it can be very hard to do tho :D).
Super great entry overall!
The artistic choices and the overall design philosophy is phenomenal.
One of my favourites so far!
This game has such strong vibe that makes you keep playing, too bad there aren't a lot of levels.
I would love to play more in the future. <3
Everything here works so well together. The visual style is impressive, the audio design fits perfectly, the simple mechanics are great, yet could be expanded into more complex puzzles.
Excellent work. Only issue I had was the slight inertia on the player.
Good job!
The audio was fantastic.
You knocked the graphics out of the park.
Holy cow.
My only criticism is that the controls felt a little odd and gummy.
This was really fantastic.
Another thing that I will point out is that the mechanics used in the puzzles are interesting and have a large design space to be explored, but by its nature, the 'points' will always be apart of each other by a kinda great distance and having a character walking seams to be not ideal, things become very slow for the player, especially since the puzzles are simple and the player solves them quickly in his head, but then they have to walk for the next 60 seconds just connecting the points, so in a way having a character seems more like a barrier for the player and the gameplay.
I would love to see a full version of this.
The mood and atmosphere of the game are amazing. The art is gorgeous! And the song in the end... Mind blowingly good. I can see a LOT of potential for this game. The movement speed of the character could be a *little* faster but the game feels nice even with a slightly slow character. The puzzles were cool, but were a bit easy. Well, if this game ever gets expanded, they technically are the first 3 levels so I guess they are meant to be that way.
Great experience, a beautiful entry! Great job!
There is something intriguing, 'mystical' in this world.
I Would really love to explore deeper layers, be surprised with
more amazing scenes, try to understand were we are, who is the figure in the title screen?
So many open questions... That's great.
I'm a big fan of the black and grey art style.
The sound design fits the graphics and universe perfectly.
The ending soundtrack and title-screen left me wanting to see more.
Don't forget the game mechanics and technical execution, which are really nice.
You guys have made something really strong, inspiring.
I didn't spot "press E to interact" in the game description and got confused at the start - could've used a tip in-game
Was a really cool experience.
Loved the art style and audio.
The character was cute, but heres food for thought: did having the character moving around really add anything? What if you just had the character on the board (since they're descending deeper and deeper) but you just interacted with things via the mouse (or touch for mobile).
Maybe either go that route, OR incorporate the movement of the character into the puzzles. For example maybe they have to activate the beams in a certain order because they cant pass through them, etc.
The only other small comment is adding something at the end to say "the end" would be helpful, I sat there like a dope for a bit because I wasnt sure if the game was over or not.
Other than those small things, fantastic entry.
The character movement did feel a little bit unnecessary to me as there wasn't really any puzzle elements involved, and also somehow weirdly heavy, kinda felt like a deliberate choice for a game mechanic but the purpose missing. In this case I think mouse/touch controls interacting with the cool environment would have sufficed well.
Regardless of that, it was most definitely a very stellar entry and left me wanting more, great job!
Thanks <3
All of the developers were Armenian and "moot" in Armenian means "dark" ;)
Hitboxes on the laser skull thingies were too big, and the character would hit them when they are not visibly touching.
My only bad point is... The relationship with the theme. Yeah, okay, I got it, the exit goes down the ground, so each level is "deeper and deeper", but I didn't feel like the theme had a real impact on the game. It was more a skin for the exit animation : you could replace the elevator with some trandimensional portal and you got the same game. That's too bad !
Well done.
The art is incredibly beautiful. the controls feel right and the three puzzles are very well designed. The sound design is fantastic from beginning to end.
I would love to play a longer version of this!
Great job 💕
