Cave Expedition by ABplayz
This is the first game that I ever made. Used unreal engine. This game is about the explorer(you) stuck in a cave and collects coins as you discover new parts of the cave

Improvements:
* reduce package size, 800 Megs is a lot.. look at tutorials how to reduce size or look at the cook list.
* Got stuck in collision quite often, maybe the model was too big for the tunnels? Tunnels too small?
* Not sure you need an actual character model in the game but I appreciate it!
Thanks :) And all by yourself - nice!

It's quite interesting I like how you created the minimap.
As a tonal choice I'd abstain from ill-fitting music if you can't find any that work with your theme, sometimes nothing is better than just anything.
Hope you keep making games! This one shows a lot of promise.
Sadly, it runs at like 20 fps on my pc(Its not the best, but most games run on it fine).
- Optimization (game is way too gpu heavy, 3.5GB weight is too much, visual glitches, etc...)
- Lacks an ending (unless i missed it though i searched a bit after getting the 20 coins)
- Gameplay is a bit too simple/lacks interest imo
But you still managed to ship something for your first time doing a game and in a 48h jam, which is something far from easy. And some parts of the game are done well :
- Controls felt good
- The minimap worked quite well
- Cave tunnels aren't the easiest thing to pull off imo
So, congrats on that and hope you'll do better for your next game.
