I really liked this game. It's well implemented, the graphics/sounds are simple yet effective and the game play loop is easy to understand and play. It's also easy to finish a level but hard to finish a level in a couple of shots. Really nicely done!
The only negative i've spotted is that you introuded a spring mechanic in one level but then didn't use it again. Water, sand, lava all had multiple levels.
I got 91 as my score for the 18 hours.

Nice idea to make an adventure out of a golf game and the level transitions were really cool! Also liked the mechanics introduced throughout. Would have been cool to see the spring used in more areas. Good work!

Spent the entire time frustrated that the ball wouldn't roll a tiny bit further. 10/10 just like real golf.

That was good fun! Took me 82 hits. Pretty unique take on the theme and I liked some of the little touches, like how the ground closes up behind you as you drop into hole 14. Great work

Always love a good golf game and the transitions between levels in this one were really satisfying

79 hits. The physics of the ball and elements are so nicely balanced. It feels like golfing. Easy to understand the different elements. The best part is that you decided to let the player go through all the holes and just add up the strokes, instead of having to beat each level within par of that hole. Good idea to let the player progress instead of failing / restarting, over and over. Great game!

This was a really cool way of tackling the theme. Although the graphics are simple, they deliver theire message. The game feels very well to play, with one exception: It is realy tedious to always wait for the ball to completely stop moving. It would be cool if you could take controll when the ball is on the ground for a second (or something like that). Also I did not really find a way to cancel my action. As soon as you drag the mouse, there is no way to cancel that (for example if you notice you do not have enough space to 'build up force'). It would be cool if there was a small area around the starting point, that just cancels the move. Apart from that, great mechanic and solid game!

PS: I just found a small bug, nothing to important: I sometimes got stuck on the edge of the hole and had to 'boost' myself out of the situation, which almost always made me lose some progress.

Edit: Got 112 btw. (I know I'm bad at this...)

I love this game. I'm as bad at this game as I am at real mini golf.

The holes are all really well made. I found myself constantly impressed with how much thought went into many of them.

A solid little 2D golf game, and I think the theme fit in quite well.
I got 83 hits.

Very nice 2D Golf game to sink a lot time into. I can imagine having a problem with this game if it had more levels "just one more swing" haha. Very fun and great to play! :)

I love how you integrated the tutorial area into the main menu! The game feels complete, as in, gives you all the information you need, behaves like you would expect and is a great experience all around. Great work!

Good implementation of 2D golf. I seemed to have stumbled upon a bug in level 2 where I kept losing the ball into the grass when shooting down (shooting up was difficult with the limited screen space). Not sure what the bug was, but maybe capturing mouse delta if that's not what you were doing, would allow me to shoot in more directions.

That was pretty fun! Completed in 100 hits, so I'm about as bad at this game as golf IRL.

A pretty fun game!
For games like these I feel like it might be important to fine tune your physics system, so the bounces are accurate as the player expects. Additionally wish you leaned even more into the adventure part of the game as it was a neat spin on the classic mini-golf experience.
Overall a really pleasant experience!

I really liked this one; it was super fun and I wanted to keep on playing it over and over! It took me a few tries, but my best so far is 72 hits. I liked the various terrains, and the mood text was a nice touch. The physics were learnable and consistent; it always felt fair to me. The metal "underground" level made me curious about a larger story; it would be neat to develop that more. A few times I got stuck on the rim of a hole, and once on the last hole I ended up between the sand and dirt about one square in underground - it took a few strong hits to the right get me into the hole (but that was better than the lava!). All the holes felt very well designed. This game gave me the happiest moment I have had so far in the Jam: when I got a hole in one on #13! Great job!
