Control a drone down an endless hole. Avoid obstacles as colliding with them decreases the drones health (This includes walls)

Note: There isn't anything new to see beyond 3000m. Controls:

WASD / Arrow Keys: Move drone Space: Decelerate

Tip: The drone automatically accelerates downwards. Make sure to sure the space bar so that you aren't going too fast that you can't avoid obstacles

Funny concept and easily understood, as well as played. Difficulty ramped up nicely and it was challenging in the end. Although I wasn't really sure what happened after 2000m, it was nothing for about 200-300m after that? Thought I was through with it and the game failed to notify me!

@pandaderzwote yeah that's an issue with the spawning algorithm, there are more things that spawn after that but it cools down for a bit in that section. Thanks for the feedback I didn't think people would think thats the end of the game

Very nice little game. I think it would be even more nicier without deceleration, because it makes game too easy. You can just slow down global acceleration and stop the drone when it hits obstacle. This would make a game more challenging, but still leave some breath for player. Anyway, good job, like it. I made 2000 meters or so. Twice!

This game was really well done. I love the slight drift of the drone when you stop moving the inputs. It adds a microchallenge of keeping the drone stable while floating downwards. This is a really fresh game with a lot of replayability. I hope you continue working on it. I got 2530!

Hey, that's pretty cool!

One thing I dislike is that the drone doesn't stop moving horizontally. That doesn't really work well with the way you present it returning to it's original rotation when letting go of the buttons. I feel like air resistance would more or less stop it from infinitely going sideways.

That said, I like the idea and I've enjoyed playing it. Perhaps with more variety and polished graphics this could be made into an interesting game. Maybe more obstacles and drone types?

One thing I'm missing from this is some sort of blob shadow beneath the drone, so you can see where you are. The perspective made it a bit difficult to make sure I'm not going to collide with anything.

Well done! I liked this one. The only thing is that as @sneakylemon said "One thing I dislike is that the drone doesn’t stop moving horizontally"

Nothing to complain about. Controls felt slippery but it felt appropriate for a drone. Tried to collect the ore once just to see what it would do but nothing so I just kept going. pretty fun and I liked just about everything. nice work.

This was a fun game. It got really hard at around 1500 but other than that, solid gameplay. I also like how when you die, the drone falls down.

Game wasn't trying to run smoothly on my rig but I really like your concept!

Nice game. Starts off a little slow though.
The controls are nice and smooth, but the camera sometimes made it tricky to see where you were. Bridges can be between the camera and the drone making it impossible to navigate for a couple of seconds. You can also fly outside the camera view frustum.

A simple but effective game! I thought it was pretty enjoyable, but the fixed camera made it difficult to see whether I was hitting the walls or not sometimes. The audio also got a bit annoying after a while, some background music would've broken up the monotonous sound. Then again, we didn't get to put sound in our own game at all, because obviously time was in short supply so I get that it's not perfect.
Congratulations on your LD48 entry!
