Alien Dig Invasion by Rawrasaur
Alien Dig Invasion created for Ludum Dare 48
You have crashed into the earth with one mission, to invade. To do this you are going to have to dig deep. Good luck Captain.
Please note - the displayed cost of copper for the first building was accidentally flipped with the cost of the third building. It’s actually meant to be 10!
Thanks for playing!

My character sometimes got stuck on the wall, maybe you should reconfigure the physics material of the character?
And also there are too many resources to be collected for the forge, made me kind of frustrated somehow.
Good work!
the game is a bit confusing, some problems with the UI & lack of tutorial too, but still great !
Also had the sticky geometry bug.
I realize now that I have messed up the displayed cost of copper for the first building. It's actually meant to be 10!
I had fun playing it. A lot of content for a Jam game. Good job!
All in all, it was an alright game. It had a nice humorous twist, and didn't overstay it's welcome too long. The biggest issue with the game by far is the incorrect display for the build menu, but that's a bug not a design problem.
The game would have benefited from a few things. Like others have pointed out, some audio feedback for what you're doing would've been helpful. The game also became really repetitive towards the end, just digging down to collect some resources, trying to navigate back up with the weird sticky geometry, then repeating the process again for each of the materials. It falls into the trap of upgrades being the same exact gameplay with a different texture, in which case, I think you're better off just shortening the game. This wasn't too bad though because the entire game wasn't too long.
I don't have much else to say, but it was definitely a fun little game that could use some polish.
The only and only thing that i missed was sounds, but despite that, i liked very much this game. Great work!
