I played to the end! Cute character graphics, and I also liked the parallax background. Movement could stand to be a bit faster, as some of the levels are really big. I like making the octopus happy!

Good idea, looks pretty and funny. But not enough challenge for me. Too big spaces between fishes)

Cute game with a nice aesthetic. I would have liked some sort of background music or ambience and a faster movement, but I liked the game overall. I especially like the inplicit guidance in the levels where the arrows were baked into the rocks, and the signifiers with the 3d audio of the pufferfish.

Cute graphics and pufferfish sounds. Movement is a bit slow for my taste though.

The game is cute, but I agree with azakharov, it's a bit too easy. Nevertheless, a great submission!

Good concept. The movement is a bit slow and the levels a bit too big. The sound is a bit low but that might be based on my taste. Overall, this works, and the angry fish are really cute.œ

I love graphics. I would consider adding some kind of mini-map, because levels are big enough.

Fishs face are so cute!! I like the sound effect. Low tone audio made me relax (like nature white noise) . Low speed and rhythmic water noise => I really enjoyed

Very cute exploration game ^^
I like the graphics very much and am amazed how a two frame swim animation can look so good :)

The game could become more interesting if the pufferfish (or maybe another type) would swim around.

Nice work!

Having to wait to loose all momentum before being to swim again made me feel like I wasn't in control, but being able to "steer" during the swimming did the oposite.

Very cute octopus and he looks so happy. I agree that you shouldn't stop if you are holding down mouse button just maybe slow down before the next impulse, it would be a lot smoother.

Octopus game = best game

Just kidding ^^

Loved the aesthetic and the sounds, you nailed the deep sea vibe.

Others have already pointed out the small issues with the movement, but overall impressive work for a 48hours game!

I like the art style and swimming feels good with the sound effect. I wish there was some chill music in the background and it would be a good idea if the bad fish was moving, this was way too easy :)

Nice! Love the pufferfish sounds <3
Artwork is simple but effective. I like how it gets darker when you get towards the bottom too really nice touch and the distant background really adds scale to the environment. The chest is the only thing in the art that feels out of place I think because of the 3d perspective on it.

One idea for movement (in addition to what others have said) is increase the distance and reduce the turn radius while you are moving. It would make movements a little riskier and indirectly make the pufferfish more dangerous

Really digging the art style, when I realized this was a compo game I was especially impressed!

Some constructive criticism:
- the movement "pulses" feel a bit slow, reducing the time between them could help with game-feel
- increasing the difficulty by having harder enemies could help too

Overall good job, and really good job on aesthetics and mood :)

I like the cute look. The point and click swimming was good. It needs more obstacles though.

Love the art! The transition to deeper and deeper depths really came through, and the controls were fun to navigate. Really enjoyed the style you went for overall. My one point of feedback is that I wish new levels kept you at the same depth you ended on previously, but I totally understand with how the compo works, asset creation, especially the level you were aiming for (and nailed) would cut into programming/designing.

I love the cute artstyle so much! Enjoyed the game a lot, however I did not like how slow the movement was. Maybe if it was a bit quicker and if you couuldn't rotate while moving!? Great game nontheless :)

Love the art style. Levels where a bit large compared to the slow movement speed.

Good game.

This will go down as the cutest game in the whole compo, mark my words. Some feedback: allowing the player to pick up speed would encourage recklessness, which would make the pufferfish fun to dodge. With the slow speed, they're very easy to dodge, and the game does not let you challenge yourself by going faster.

I liked the artstyle, the movement was responsive and the characters were nice to look at. The sound effects were atmospheric and worked really well. If this had some relaxing music in the background, it could be a really nice relaxing, slow game.

An excellent game for children! Simple arts, basic mechanics and few colors. With the addition of a little music, some basic little animations and more sea animals besides the puffer fish will become a great educational game about environmental awareness. You will be saved here for my 4 year old boy to play.

Congratulations!
