I think if you had concentrated on the gameplay and less of the story, you can make a more complete game!"},{"author_name":"Mister_Melon","author_uid":"56747","time":"Aug 25, 2015 @ 1:01pm","epoch":1440507360,"text":"Overall I really enjoyed this game, I found switching between human form and fox form a really innovated way for the player to solve the small puzzles you are presented with, I really found this game enjoyable but found that some of the jumps were a bit tedious to say the least and at one stage I just stopped playing for a bit because I wanted to move onto something else (some checkpoints of some kind would be nice too so you don't have to walk all the way back to a jump every time) I thought that it really suited the theme in an interesting way. I LOVED the cute art style and the audio was amazing (but since you didn't make it during LD I don't think that you can enter the category? But I rated you highly in it anyways), it was a bit funny at stages and the art style and audio made a wonderful mood and vibe. A couple notes on the controls.\r<br\/>Hold SHIFT to sprint, by default. This can get you over the long jump if you're a fox.\r<br\/>While human, you can engage crawling by pressing left and right while holding down. This should allow you to escape narrow spaces.\r<br\/>Down+Jump should let you pass through certain kinds of platforms, allowing to escape some places you might get transformed in.\r<br\/>If anyone still has problems, can't get the above controls to work, or finds a spot that can't be escaped, even with the controls I just listed, please let me know exactly where the problem occurs and I'll look into fixing it for a post-jam version.\r<br\/>Also this game includes default bindings for a 360 or other X-Input controller, if you prefer to play with a controller. Suddenly a third burst out of the doorway, chased by the owner. These little monsters: They sneak in and steal food and are very much unwelcome there! Little did he know that he would be seeing them again.\r\n\r\nControls are configurable in-game. \r\n\r\nKeyboard Controls:\r\nArrows - move\r\nSpace - Jump\r\nEnter - Progress Menus\r\nC - Attack\r\nV - Attack\r\nLeft Shift - Sprint\r\nEscape - Skip Cutscene\r\n\r\nGamepad Controls:\r\nD-Pad - move\r\nA - Jump\/Progress Menus\r\nB - Attack\/Skip Cutscene\r\nX - Attack\r\nLeft Bumber - Sprint\r\n\r\nThe Accomplishments:\r\nWe've pulled a lot of work together for this project! \r\nWe actually had time to test the game out, make sure it works (I think).\r\nCutscenes and introduction and story!\r\nI didn't have much time to write music, but used some tracks I had on file.\r\n\r\nThe Frustrations:\r\nThere are no standard enemies in the game. We originally planned guards which would attack you as a fox.\r\nThere are no other NPCs in the game besides the intro NPC; post LD, we may add them!\r\nThe ability to change form at will got pushed off the drawing table for LD, but may come later.\r\nThe game world is sort of small, but offers one effortfully constructed level\/puzzle.\r\nBoss fight arena. Probably in a post LD version.\r\n\r\nAs Jimun and I tend to do, we've bitten off -slightly- more than we can chew in three days, but it didn't discourage us.\r\nWe've put effort together, gave it all we had to give, and finished with a working game.\r\n\r\nHappy Ludum Dare 33, everybody!\r\n","title":"Little Monster"}
