Install the file "Unlucky Fields — The Game.zip" on your device. Next, extract the files, open the folder that will be created, and click on "Lucky Box Runner" to play!

I’ve stomped on so many fly amanitas that the Mushroom Mafia is definitely coming for me now! )))

I missed having at least a run animation for the character, but the parallax effect turned out really cute

An okay endless runner. Player animations would have added a lot to the atmosphere and helped it reach its full potential. Also, the collision feedback with obstacles could maybe have been a bit better. But it’s a game, it works, and it has an idea. Nice parallax!

When trying to start the game here on the website, I get the following error:

Uh oh!
If you're seeing this error, it means I can't find your index.html file.

This usually means you created your .zip file by zipping the entire folder, and index.html is somewhere like MyGame/index.html. If you recreate your .zip with index.html file in the root, this error should go away.

See the embedding guide for more details. ludumdare.com/resources/guides/embedding/

It's certainly rough but I can tell there's love that has been put into it, and that's cool! Well done!

After the transformation everything sped up — the speed and the music — which made me so nervous that I died lol. Looking forward to seeing animations and more obstacles added later!

Cool infinite runner and nice work on the parallax effects! The mechanic of random game shifts via the '?' blocks is interesting.

For future improvements, I’d suggest looking at the 'pacing.' Sometimes the '?' block takes a long time to appear, making the slow sections feel a bit repetitive. Speeding up the interval or adding more obstacles during those gaps would help. Also, adding even a simple 2-frame run animation for the boy would make the movement feel much more dynamic.
