Very creepy (specially the sounds!), I liked it!

Interesting concept. I found waiting for the bomb to go off uneventful. You could just sit in a corner and afk. Finding the bomb was good, should just have it be a 20 second timer maybe with all the tv guys rushing you constantly and you gotta run around the arena for ammo survival.

A fun creep experience. Not bad, really.

Quite surreal, I like it! Managed to survive and got rickrolled too which made me laugh  Nice work on the graphics and atmosphere too, a fun game!

I liked the concept of turning of the "ward" tvs. The game became more intense after I placed the bomb. Nice game!

This was my first jam and I really enjoyed working on the game, shoutout to @hotdog and the rest of the team. Learned so much in doing this and got to do more creative work than I have in a long time. Hope y'all enjoyed it and would be great to hear more feedback! Thanks.

@grimslinger this was one of the challenges we faced, we had a few features in the backlog that would have added to this but didn't have time to implement them. We wanted to have more of the NPC enemies, and interaction with effects caused by the channels e.g. bees from a nature channel blocking an area until you turn onto a channel with flowers on, where they would get sucked into the TV. A bit more balancing at this end state would have gone a long way, and some more advanced routing for the enemies too. Thank you for the feedback.

Scary asf. Nice. But it's freezing for some reasons (my laptop is definitely not the reason). Sounds are atmospheric, liked 'em, but they're loud asf. The volume control is what I'd like to get. The goal and plot are understandable, but in fact, I've never been able to complete the game. I tried few times and lost either because of TV or I just couldn't find the tool I needed. If I hadn't read the description on the page, I would definitely struggling, 'cause in the game nobody trying to make your life easier, and you have to be ready from the very start. Feels like a cold shower. And for god's sake, I miss the pause button. Good luck tho. Nice first try!

Thanks for the review @chick-chirick - good points to call out. These would all be features to work in, and will think about this for future jams as they are not too hard to implement, just didn't prioritise these bits effectively.

I like the style and theming. The Main Menu is quite creative.
I found the event after planting the bomb quite simple as you can just stand in the corner and they don't seem to be able to find you.

Cool idea, really well done. Level structure keeps things tense without any cheap dead ends.

Also, exit in menu literally closes my browser... is that a new Godot feature?

The sounds were really horrible (I mean that as a compliment) and I loved the rainbow effect that happened as I was getting overwhelmed

Really well made game! The atmosphere was excellent, particularly the sound effects were perfect and horrifying. All the visuals are so cool. The waiting for the countdown at the end felt a bit long and could have maybe been shorter. But overall super well done!

I scare pretty easily and am therefore not great with horror games, so those two minutes were pretty long for me. Means it was freaking scary though, so well done! Great mood. I loved the musical reward at the end. xD

Man, that gets crazy difficult as more and more TV dudes are running around. Fun little game concept though! Loved the TV heads.

Love me some horror. Played it twice, forcing myself to stay on the move on the second run which certainly made it more fun. Maybe some slowly chasing (floating?) enemy would have enforced that more, but having both playstyles available for player preference isn't a bad thing either I guess.

I liked the idea, and the execution is really interesting! The top-down graphics are solid too. One thing though-I managed to get myself into a corner and pretty much stayed there until the timer almost ran out. Five TVs rushed me at once, but luckily I had some remote charges left! p.s. Rick Astley is top-tier.

Damm that's scary, not sure how to place the bomb but did seem able to turn off one of the TVs chasing me. Nice graphics and effects, the audio was popping and looping a bit not sure if that was the idea or not

Very scary, well done for the mood. At first I didn’t understand that I needed to place the bomb, so I spent a long time going around and disabling all TVs, then finally the bomb got placed so I just went to hide in a corner and waited two minutes.

Instantly thought of Undertale right from the start (IYKYK), in the best way possible. Lovely artstyle and mood, definitely got the heebie jeebies!

Super creepy atmosphere, sounds are genuinely disturbing
Really cool concept and visuals, loved the TV heads.
End part feels a bit slow though, you can kinda just hide and wait — could be more pressure there.
Overall very solid and memorable experience
Also really loved the song at the end 🎵

cool game! after planting the bomb, i stood in the corner most of the time. a couple of times, TVs started chasing me, but that's it. as someone mentioned earlier, it probably would have been cooler if they'd chased you nonstop after planting the bomb.
if I understand correctly, this is your first game jam, so congratulations on a successful submission!

Really nice. I didn't know how to plant the bomb, I was just running around killing TVs. A really nice game though, I enjoyed it. The post processing is excellent

Congrats on a great entry, the mood you created here is enthralling. Gameplay is a bit difficult. I had trouble figuring out how to hit the TV heads, and it wasn't clear to me when the player gets hit. Sometimes it was game over even when I was some distance away from the TV heads.

Wow. Very atmospheric. We loved the lighting and the animations and overall concept. The sound effects were a little too jarring and the difficulty was a bit low, once we knew the basics. Still great and spooky overall experience :)
We also loved the super creative themed menu.
