This was very fun and polished. I played for way longer than I was intending to cause it was so addictive. My only complaint would be that I think getting upgrades takes a little too long in the beginning at least. Maybe some other powerups would be cool too

I had a lot of fun and it felt overall very polished. I do feel like it gets really hard after a while and the permanent upgrades are quite expensive.

Really fun arcade shooter with some like rogue-lite features. Nice work, was fun to play!

fun game! i really like the pixel art. nice bit of variety to the alien ships. the EMP was a nice ability for the moments you start to get overwhelmed. it was really challenging. the upgrades were definitely helpful. i like how the progression carries into new rounds. music and SFX fit well, glad you added the volume sliders though as it started out really loud. the screen shake helped to make the shooting impactful but i would have liked an option to turn it down a bit. since i was basically shooting non-stop the screen was just shaking the whole time. also a crosshair instead of just the mouse pointer would have been nice to have. overall a really solid entry. well done!

Cute game! ^^ I enjoyed the controls and enemy variety, but its a shame that the upgrades were a bit grindy. Overall I think it will definitely end up high on the list ^^

Very satisfying. Only thing I'm really missing is some way to see how long you've survived, or what level you got to.

The creativity, playability, and attention to detail are all close to perfect. This is the best entry I’ve seen in this jam so far. The game has enormous potential, and if it’s developed well, it could easily become the next breakout hit. The build variety already has impressive depth, and the physics feedback feels fantastic. I’m genuinely excited for the full version

Thank you all for your feedback, we really appreciate it!
We definitely share some of your thoughts too. ^^
We've made a small patch, only updating the meta progression prices, the original version can still be played too ofc!
Other than that, feel free to suggest ideas for future development, we'd love to hear your thoughts on what could come next!

Very clean and polished overall. The art style is really pleasing. :D It’s really easy to pick up and replay a few times without much friction. Nice work!

It looks great. Cool the graphics. It’s fun to play, but I don’t understand why the power-ups are saved after death.![photo_2026-04-25_14-54-39.jpg](///raw/25b/76/z/72ae7.jpg)

Beautiful game, really really loved the art, but it got brutally tough pretty quick!

High-quality game. But I still didn't understand why this game needed roguelike, because it only made everything worse (and you have to go through the boring early and middle stages of the game every time). And the balance is not very good: I could live indefinitely without all the meta-upgrades. And late game doesn't grow endlessly, unfortunately. Also, the firing frequency is almost always a priority over the damage (with an equal 20% increase). But otherwise, I enjoyed playing, even though I had to wait until the last game several times to get a little pleasure in the end.

@paulsams thanks for your feedback! yea the entire meta progression / difficulty curve isn't balanced that well, we noticed that too, but didn't have the time to really nail it down. if we decide to develop it further, that's the first thing we'll fix though!

@irkar Hey, thanks for the feedback! although I'm not quite certain what you're referring to. the in-game level ups don't stay when you die, but there's a general upgrade option for meta progression when you die, enabling you to get further every run. what seems to be the issue for you?

I had fun, that was a nice game. I liked the graphics and mood. Easy to pickup and understand.

I think some comments mentioned difficulty balance alredy - at the start you barely manage to kill the "kamikaze" before it reaches you. Once you get 4 bullets upgrade, you pretty much can almost just stand in place once you get some regen and improved aim.

Cool style! The game doesn't lag and runs smoothly.

A few nuances: the camera shake isn't the most pleasant solution on big waves, and after upgrading to 3/3 projectile, the game literally becomes endless. At these levels, the space button gun reloads instantly. I was expecting a final boss, that was missing.

Otherwise, it's a great game with a well-designed, gradual progression; I really enjoyed it :)

Cute game, I like that it is incremental and even after dying you can upgrade stuff and jump right back in. Very cute graphics, although playing long enough the music did start to hurt. Great entry!

Great game, quite hard like the old school Acorn or BBC games. Love the music and the graphics, didn't quite grasp the upgrades though. Still looks very polished and I kept having to go back and play one more time

Really cool game with lots of juice. The audio and graphics were very clean and the colours super pop out. Only small negative for me was the screen shake once the fire rate goes up is a bit to much however it definitely makes it feel more impactful.
