Defend yourself from the horrors of advertisements and commercialism in this 'Guitar Hero'-style game. Destroy ads to get the highest score! This game requires quick reflexes and focus, as the more points you have, the faster the ads come! Watch out, as if 5 ads get past, you lose! Using only two keys, this game is easy to play and pick up.

This is my first Ludum Dare entry, and it was quite the experience!

For my project, I used:
-Haxeflixel, game engine
-Paintbrush, graphics editor
-Beepbox, chiptune editor
-BFXR, sound effects

Very cool and effective. I liked the suitable artstyle. Music was cool as well.

Only suggestion I have is to add a sound effect for when there is a breach, and for when you click and there is no AD (and you lose score). In addition, I would make it so that that sound effect for a correct click refreshes; it happened several times that ads were close and the sound only played for when I blocked the first one.

Good job, good luck!

I like the aesthetic, sound is good. Gameplay is quit simple but enjoyable for a few minutes. It's not very innovative though.

The game was nice, however, (I don't know if this was intended or not) some times, ads will spawn almost on top of each other, making it impossible to block it in time. The music was decent (but repetitive), but great game overall.

I like the idea, with some more tweaks it could be better.
It would be nice if the ads would spawn at the same distance, but would move faster over time, so no ads would overlap and the game gets gradually harder.
Also a screen or sound effect for letting an ad pass, or for clicking when there is no ad would be nice.

Good job!

This is just a perfect "loading screen game" now that that patent is d00med :) Good job.

This game wasn't half bad. And you should give yourself more credit for the audio, it wasn't brutal. Next time I would recommend more feedback to the player, like a sound effect when they press a button. It would provide better game feel.
