Mouse to look around
Left mouse button to shoot
Right mouse button to confirm commands
Hold Shift to enable the selection aura (used to select soldiers)
Keys 1–6 to issue different commands to your soldiers
Once a group is selected, you don’t need to reselect a command repeatedly. After choosing a command once, you can continue issuing it with right click.
Objective You are the commander of a platoon that has been pushed back to its final camp. After eliminating the enemy commander, their forces have fallen into disarray. Use the signals you and your soldiers have trained for to coordinate effectively and eliminate the remaining enemy units.
You are faster than a standard soldier, but less durable. Enemy forces consist of regular troops and heavily armored units with increased health, requiring careful positioning and coordination to defeat.

Super cool use of the theme, there are obviously a few things that would be better with some polish like the soldier movement and difficulty but other things like the minimap were a very useful additions. Overall I had fun, nice entry, really nice idea.
There are a few balance issues at the moment — for example, the player health feels a bit too low — but that seems totally fixable with some tuning.
Overall, it was an interesting experience, and I enjoyed playing it!
There could have been in-game hints at the keyboard commands so it would have been independent of the ludum page.
It was fun to move the units around and make them shoot... and distract the enemy fire yourself while the executioner squad keep picking off the enemies.
In game graphics were good pixelart and the symbols were clear. The game was pretty quiet and some sound effects would have gone a long way to create more mood and character for it.
Still, it was nice and quick fun 😊
I think giving the obstacles collision could add a lot, since it would force players to position their squads more strategically so they can provide supporting fire.

I had a lot of fun playing it!
