This entry feels like a toy in and of itself, almost like a modern day theremin. It looks great and sounds great, and the creativity really stands out. I have never played anything quite like it.

Hilarious virtual stress ball. Dig the aesthetic, fits the vibe! Thanks for the silly little game.

It is what it says on the tin, a stretchy frog that screams. No combat, no violence, heck barely any conflict at all and yet it's so entertaining. There's a very fundamental form of play here that's just really good, I'm as amused by this as the main character appears to be.

I like how you list the resources you used on the itch page, that's just really cool.

Cool sound design WOW! It likes the feeling when I try to get everything messy in the synthesizer, add a lot of distortion and enjoy the noise www May everyone who have tried to make music would share this feeling. And the character is really kawaii! Really fun little game! \*DISTORTED WAHHHH*

There is a bug when I play this in Firefox, where the in-game cursor moves to the top of the screen uncontrollably. It works fine when I run it in Chrome!

@orangeoceans OMG i loved your entry, thanks for checking this out,
(also, thanks for notifying me of the firefox bug, I found [This](https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues/51810) open issue for godot, so it might be an engine limitation for now; I'll see if I could find a workaround later (like not capturing the mouse for firefox or something))

Update: yeah it so it turns out it's a known Firefox Pointer Lock API bug that hasn't been patched yet, and there isn't much I could do about it

5/5 a true game jam enjoyer

Tuesday, I woke up from sleep, poured myself a cup of coffee, and started sculpting this frog
The sound it makes is like breathing out warm air on a winter day, staring at the silent apartment buildings in the distance

This is such a fun little concept; it perfectly nails the feeling of an absurd, wonderfully loud childhood toy. The visual style combined with the sound effects is genuinely hilarious. Thanks for making this goofy little piece of art for the jam!

What an abstract game! A good toy to help me relaxed. Besides, I learn a creativity on using skeletal system and I think there has some unique techs behind the frog toy, thankyou for making this game!

This game got beamed directly into my soul and kept me in a trance for 20 minutes. I don't really have any feedback haha, this just clicked with me. I'm also really grateful for the tutorials you linked! Verlet integration and IK have always been things that I could never get quite right, but your game is making me want to give it another shot! Amazing work!

Edit: I gotta tear myself away from this thing! I've kept coming back throughout the day. I'm weirdly obsessed with it, just scratches a part of my brain so well! I almost wish I could use it as a virtual pet of some kind.

I've spent unreasonable amount of time "stretching the frog" here. That sounds dirty, but so is "playing the frog", "making the frog go uaaaz", "abusing the frog" and any other description I might think of. Aaand I somehow enjoyed the experience - which probably makes the previous statement even worse.

But yeah, awesome entry, thanks!

I loved the original idea. Good thing the frog is a toy!

If I study a little, do you think I could write a piece of music for four voices? :D

Congratulations!

Fuck yes. Part of what's great about jamming is coming across this kind of experimental entry way outside the range. Loved it.

How many are you running at once? I only went to three at the same time...

![frog-harmony.png](///raw/81b/z/72951.png)

You made me want the full version of this game where it's a band of four friends with different-voiced animals and a way to define keyframes so they can have raw approximations of loops and I can create a dynamic tower stack of insanity.

The art touches are great, the range circles, the frequency analyzer, the shaking text. What first caught my eye and made me play was your anim speedrun gif that you posted. Love the style.

Very nice work.

@pkenney woah i never considered the fact that multiple instances could be active at the same time, and i tried it just now and it was really fun O_O, it's so cool that you are finding ways of interacting that i never envisioned happening

@nikiroz i originally wanted to make a cute frog game where you have a call and response type thing with croaking and everyone is on like lily paddles and stuff, but when i started sketching the idea i got carried away and the universe beamed this game into my brain so i had to let it happen

I was not expecting that. I regret nothing.

The "jelly" effect while deforming the frog is excellent

Really appreciate you giving me the opportunity to play this [on stream.](https://www.youtube.com/live/EVIN76_gvMg?t=3991s)

*Full commentary in the VOD.* The tldr: this was a joyful experience for a few minutes of fun. Excellent work making this little frog toy look and behave like jelly. I consider this the unofficial Flubber videogame.

Incredible game and deceptively powerful instrument. I love how the simple act of circling the mouse and adjusting hand positioning changes the dynamics of the sound. Here is some bad frog metal.
