made by ginkgo-biloba for Ludum Dare 59 (JAM)

Mischievous cats are taking over your home. They pop up on your furniture, meowing in strange patterns — and every sound means something.

Listen closely, read their signals, and react fast. Give them what they want before they lose patience…

Or watch your home fall into chaos.

At first, it was hard to keep all the cats happy, so the house was a bit of a mess. But once I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed the game! The art style is super cool, and I love all the cats

I absolutely loved it! I made a cat game for a past Ludum Dare, so this theme really clicked with me. It was so much fun too! The visuals are fantastic — I especially enjoyed the unique perspective. The cats meows are super cute, and the soundtrack is really nice. Awesome work!

Adorable! Great work on the sounds. It's interesting to play, at some point there were so many cats that they turned the house into a complete disaster, but it was fun. Great job!

Super fun! I can't believe the game hasn't been played more, it does what some of the most reviewed jams this year do, but you do it so much better. Having to memorize the signals is great, along with having to keep giving more things to the increasing cats, and the ring doorbell-esque view is a nice touch. Plus new mechanics introduced felt intuitive and easy to understand! Overall 5 stars from me.

I am not good at this and my home got wrecked haha. I did struggle a lot with matching sounds to cats especially when they popped up close together. Adorable art and I really like your take on the theme for the gameplay and concept.

This was hilarious, really loved the sound and animations of the cats :smile_cat:

If you continued working on this , would be cool to add mouse motion for the head scratch and have buttons for the fish / string. It'd get very frantic very quickly trying to aim from the corner of the screen to the the cats quick enough haha.

You could then have the speed for each 'round' go quicker for a higher score / leaderboard , or introduce some new sounds / items ( lazer pointer , catnip etc )

This was a fun scramble! It would have been more fun if it was easier to line up the item with the cats; for some of the small kitties it took a few tries. I enjoyed playing a game that needs audio and visual attention. Great job!

I have no cat, so I'm not sure if that was actually a cat sound—more like bird chirping.

But in all it was a chill game with lots of fun (though I fxcked up with the room lol).

Art is definitely a standout, Felt like I got very easily overwhelmed once the speed picked up but was very enjoyable as a cat parent myself! great job!
