LD: Lighthouse Defence by Melomaner

🗼LIGHTHOUSE DEFENCE🌊
Defend your lighthouse, upgrade it into a transmission tower, and send a signal that reaches the stars.
🔵 Description
You are the keeper of a lone lighthouse at the edge of the world. Every night, waves of creatures attack. You fight them off, protect the tower, and survive.
Every 5 levels, a boss appears. Defeat it to obtain rare parts and upgrade your lighthouse.
But this is more than just defense. Your lighthouse evolves into a transmission tower.
You send a SIGNAL.
At first, someone responds… but they can’t help you. Your signal is too weak. You are redirected further.
And further. And further.
Upgrade your tower. Extend your reach. Break through the silence.
Send the SIGNAL across the darkness.
Send the SIGNAL until it reaches the stars.
And maybe… someone will finally come.

It would have been cool if the lighthouse was a little lower.
Good job!
Also, it’s often hard to see when enemies are attacking the beacon because of the 3D camera.
UPD: I decided to give it another try, and I’m happy to report that the difficulty is actually fine. I just didn’t understand the mechanic for preventing the big wave at the beginning (where you need to quickly enter the code).
Once I figured it out, everything became pretty easy. The last wave got shredded in about 5 seconds 🙂
I invested heavily in the money towers early and it made late game feel super easy. I had a ton of maxed out towers and lvl 30 something player damage so I was able to absolutely destroy the enemies lol.
It's awesome that there's a clear tutorial, a solid goal, and good progression in difficulty and development - you guys clearly put enough thought into that. The controls could be a bit simpler since there are quite a few buttons and windows but at least everything is labeled so it didn't take me long to figure things out ; )
The voxel graphics look fantastic! And the whole atmosphere of spending time on a lonely island with a lighthouse is super chill so the music and sounds really pull you in. I especially loved the part with the boss and the huge swarm of enemies.
Amazing work, congrats everyone!

This is the experience of playing TD maps in Warcraft 3.
We play as the old man and kill Pepe, fine.
You've got a really addictive game!
The turrets should to be made destructible.
You should completely transfer the experience of building labyrinths from Warcraft 3.
If you fix the balance, I'll play endless mode.
When I launched the game for the first time, the build menu wouldn’t open for some reason — neither with B nor with 2. I ended up clicking the icon instead. After the first loss, it started working.
The first time, I got confused with the upgrade — I pressed the icon with "U" and upgraded the tower itself. Only later did I realize that turret upgrades are in the build menu. I had to earn more money in the following waves just to get through the tutorial 😅
I still don’t quite understand how "Income" works. Also, it’s a bit odd that the character can walk on water 🙂
It would also be more convenient if, when a code needs to be entered in a tower, there were some kind of sound cue and the message above it was highlighted more clearly — I didn’t notice it right away. Maybe it would be better to show this kind of warning in the center of the screen so it’s more obvious.
Overall, it’s surprisingly fun to play 👍
I played a few times but haven’t finished it yet. Might come back to it later
