Bad Reception by magus77
This is Bad Reception: you are the radio operator for a post apocalyptic community hiding in a bunker. This is our LD59 JAM submission for the theme “Signal”. We had fun making the game and hope you will enjoy playing it for a bit!

You can play the game in your browser, but the downloadable (windows) version is a bit better because of sound handling.
Please rate our game and leave a comment so we can return the favour ;-)

The gameplay was intuitive, and was cool to explore. After a while I felt a little confused when it came to what the objective was and if my inputs was helping/hindering my overall objective. I think I let some people in by pressing the green button when it showed up. Turning the buttons was enjoyable but some visual feedback might have helped me understand what I should be doing better - but that could also be I'm not very good at the game. Well done guys
Rotating the antenna into their actual direction will raise the volume of their clean signal considerabily.
Listening to the message they are broadcasting helps you decide if you should let them in or not. It's easier to hear what they say if you tune both dials ;-)
