The food was incredibly tiny, to the point of it making more sense to just change directions randomly and hope for the best at the higher levels. Larger food pellets, or just a more zoomed-in grid would have helped. I loved the control scheme, though. The music is cheaply implemented, but nice. The GUI is a bit weird, and it seemed to me that the game is slowed down by maximizing the window (is the framerate not synchronized with real time?). Rather than going Up, Down, Left and Right you move diagonally and use the 2 buttons to flip Horizontal or flip Vertical.\r\n\r\nH and V on the keyboard do the same flip, also you could tab between the 2 buttons and press Space to activate them. Make the window larger to zoom in.\r\n\r\nThe diagonal movement gives an interesting side effect, only a keen-eyed player will deduce why some food and snakes look lighter than others.\r\n\r\nCollect the green food to grow larger and survive as long as you can.
