Great Graphics.
simple mechanics.

I'm also picking up the final fantasy vibes. The music is good!

The UI could have used some more clarity. Even after reading the game description here, it wasn't super intuitive what I was doing. After I played around and defeated my first boss, I got the hang of it.

Also I think there's a bug when trying to summon multiple things at a time - it cancels anything in the queue and only summons the last thing clicked on.

I enjoyed the artwork quite a bit! Mechanically, it's pretty simple, and there didn't seem to be much of a need for strategy. I did fairly well just clicking random summons. I think it could've benefited from a little more difficulty, and some more axes around which to strategize. But hey, it's a complete entry, so well done! :tada:

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

@acsid and @andrewkennedy I'm happy to hear it reminded you of a FF, we love those games! We did our best with the graphics and the music in the limited amount of time! Also thanks for the bug report, we are going to take a look at that!
@sirjupitron thanks for the comment! I was wondering who how long would it take for someone to get Santa! haha!
@bloodyaugust Thanks for the comment! Yes, it is simple mechanically... we had many things we had to leave out due to lack of time. Also, I think we ended up giving it quite a bit of time for the user to be able to win. We will try to do an improved and more challenging post-jam version!

Santa is slapping! It was fun to play. Found a bug, that you can summon while you already summoning someone. Not a big problem.

Design and overall feeling is really good. Have a nice Jam!

I did enjoy the graphics and music as well but I agree with bloodyaugust, there wasn't much strategy involved.
After reading the description I thought I'd have to keep track of all the different weaknesses and strengths but since I couldn't choose exactly what to attack with I just had to hope that I randomly get the right summon type and just kept clicking the summon button until I won

I like it. Music and backgrounds and start screen are cool. Also liked little lore thing.
As mentioned before, mechanics are not-very-intuitive and for complicated mechanics there is no room to do something complex. Believe postjam will be cool!!!

@potatofinch Thanks for the feedback! I agree, we had to cut out quite a bit of things we planned in order to meet the deadline! We are going to be doing a post-jam version with those ideas and mechanics that didn't make it in!

@mantsje Thanks for the nice comment! I tried my best to make some music that matched the feeling of the game! It was challenging with the limited amount of time and coding the game! The graphics were done by my teammate rsr-studios and also the code!

Very reminiscent of classic Final Fantasy. I also like that it's kind of a 3D Rock-Paper-Scissors. The sprite art is beautiful, and the sounds took me back to the days of the GameBoy. Good work!

Great stuff! There's a really impressive amount of art in this game, and it's all got a wonderfully consistent style. Mechanics are interesting and make you think strategically, and the music is a great vibe for the setting. Well done all.

What an incredible quantity of art! I very much liked the time mechanic too, this was a far higher pressure (in a positive way) game than I expected

I very much enjoy your guys game. Mechanically it was pretty simple, but the pixel art was off the charts. There were so many detailed sprites jammed into it and I can tell a lot of effort was put into each one of them. Overall great job!
