I struggled a bit with a text based game with so many grammar errors. Writing was ok, but I noticed a lot of lack of spaces between words and some sentences were a little difficult to read. Overall, it seems like a good attempt at text based, but could use some editing and fixing with grammar and sentence structure

That was cute, and I liked being able to easily go back and forth when looking at characters or making decisions.

One take, and then I muted the sounds for myself for playtesting as it made me blush so much whenever I heard myself  Thank you, @pocketdog

@tinker1175 Yeah, there are still many things to adjust, rewrite and alike. Sadly my friend who would be assisting me with it- as I am not the best in English- did not get very far for her own reasons. Thank you for playing!

Could you be more specific what you found cute exactly @nidoprince ? You as well, thanks for playing~

Started off strong with the sound design. The link to different art scattered around also added some nice detail. Overall just a good visual novel.

A very cute game. The music and art are both lovely, and I really liked the mushroom people idea.

Some of the shorter choices felt a bit too brief, while the longer ones were a little hard for me to read through, but I still enjoyed the overall style a lot.

Hope you keep making more games. Good luck.

The art was cute, and the sounds, as well as the premise of the mushroom society.

the audio added alot to the atmosphere, I really liked the mushroom style, and the art style was really great, had a cool kind of sticker aesthetic, I look forward to seeing what other games you create!

The concept of the mushroom society feels incredibly unique and atmospheric. I really enjoyed the sense of mystery built into the world, making it feel like a bizarre, wonderful dream. Great job creating such an immersive little world!

Lotsa reactions! Alright lets go by those I read. First, thank you all for playing, taking the time to give feedback be it to give me a boost in confidence or skill... Or both!

@pastmoments I am happy it started off strong, since I myself was cringing everytime opening it up

@foxecho you put in words what I was thinking around the end, the balance of the passages was somewhat wacky in the amount of text. It is certainly a point I want to keep in mind next time.

Lotsaaa audio comments, thanks for the boost :fireworks: @ii-p @5n4k3 @hefei-s @pavlo @drainkid @peterlebagarreur @evgenii-petrov

@nidoprince @zakchaos @eugenik Happy the schooms were so liked :blue_heart: I had a lot of fun making them, a bit sticker like so it felt like a story put together. It also makes it easier to talk about a bit heavier subjects as I could use terms like cap, stalk and alike.

Great world building, but lots of the text is hard to read and follow, like it's been translated poorly.

Thankss for playing! As if I am not flushing enough, I fo like the style I found this LD as my own.

What I am missing is knowledge on what routes everyone yook. If able, did you choose to give a stern warning or have the kid bring it back himself? @luka420 @hoarime @flowerfield-games

As a muscaria amanita adjacent being myself I do enjoy all the little details and mushroom puns put into this game. Its lightweight and humorous at times while also havin very serious moral complications baked into the story. On the other hand it... it... oh wait there is no negatives unless youre one of those weird individuals who dislikes reading! Great game, would annoy the yellow one again!

omg the music DSJKDSJKDSKJ

It was pretty fun, I'm not the hugest fan of text adventures (and unfortunately the grammar does make it a tad more tiring to read, but I understand) but I liked the decisions I could make, I like how there was a whole different path if you choose to be the bad cop, and I see you even left notes for yourself to finish the story later!

Since you're curious, my first path went like this: Tell the kid off and not arrest, then arrest NPC 2. As it turns out that was the shortest path, so I came back and arrested NPC 1 to get the other side of the story.

Hi dear, better late than never I guess

I had fun reading your game , I think the story has got some depth making the player think about the decisions they made. Even the "good" answers, like not arresting the teen with the kart and the feedback that came out of that.

Regarding 'gameplay': I found the contrast between the black screen and the big white text to be too harsh on the eyes. The characters started to melt together for me after a while. My advise would be to make the letters light-gray or the background to be somewhat anthracite :-)

I'm proud of you! This is your second solo LD jam game and it shows a lot of progress

@smugsman What I once read, is that when one makes art and like a certain style that they should completely drown themselves in it and make it part of them. Reason being? There will always be people who don't really like it  Thank you for your positive feedback, it was a worry of mine text is not always... Liked so to say.

@fupi Hi there! Thanks for the feedback, there are after the kid with the... Lets say balls for fun I think 18 different paths with after that those going elsewhere or melting with other paths. The notes were pretty much my 'when done continue here' things, making the game in sprints as I want choices over a singular storyline. The grammar is something to work on, defo.

Oh my oh my, a latecomer~ Hi @wouter52 , Seeing the text on the computerscreen and on the phone after uploading now... The very white text was my last minute change. I will keep readabillity in mind next time
