I was able to get to stage 2. I then got dead cause I got too greedy. I like the music and the art. Good job.

Cute! But the move button seems to have some problem.

Adding collection mechanics to a bullet hell style game was a great way to go, the core gameplay loop is really fun! My only complaint is that it felt like I was losing more energy passively than I was able to get from collecting in stage 2, by the time I got to the tower all my progress had pretty much reset from the last run.

A neat little excursion. I managed to finish the final level, wondering on some level if I was doing well or if the lasers that were beating me down weren't doing much to my bot. Regardless, good job!

It's a little too hard for me, trying hard for a long time to get to stage 2. Yet it's fun and the art style is great!

Well-executed bullet hell game! Maybe needs some balancing after stage 1 in terms of how much power you collect but other than that I have no complaints

Good old bullet hell — you can’t go wrong with that. I played it with real pleasure. The length is just right — it doesn’t overstay its welcome. The music’s got great vibes, you really get into a flow state while playing.

Cool game! I reached the end of the map, where no more batteries were spawning.

I had a fun time playing, and the difficulty level was appropriate.

It took me a minute to realize there are multiple towers, but the "signal" symbol alerted me of that fact. Nice touch.

For stage 3, I went all the way to the bottom. The level does not seem to be infinite, so it is a bit easier down there, only being attacked from one side.

Tricky but not too tricky and quite an addictive game idea. Well done!

Very fun game. Isn't the level two a bit hard ? Did i mised something besides bringing energy to the radio tower ?

The idea is really good, but lacks some polish in terms of how infomation is delivered effectively.

UI for example, feels too small and not eye catching, shadows the smart idea of radio strength indicate the next tower, or capacity remains, they are just not that intuitive.

The player's illustrasion does not match hitbox? Or doesn't feels like that, I am actually good at similar games like Issac or Brotato but the I found myself hit by bullets that doesn't feels like they should hit me, a lot.

After I understand how things works though, I did enjoyed a round that plays quite fun, but the 3rd level has such bullet hell yet the hitbox thing just, I wish I could finish the game, cause it has some good level up tense and fun.

Second Ludum Dare game I've played to make me think of Bangboo from Zenless Zone Zero XD

Third level was a solid brick wall for me - there were enough bullets flying everywhere that I was stuck hovering around 200 energy, nowhere near the 1000 I needed to advance.

As an aside, the "Play Again" button doesn't seem to work...

I low the difficulty ramps up slowly. Just when you think it's getting easy, there's more to dodge and do. So, great work on the pacing!

nice game!
i liked the sound when you left the energy at the tower, kept me wanting to go out and fetch more.
last level was super hard until i realized that the level looped around which was game changing for me. I thought I wasn't gonna make it but then it started spawning a lot of those yellow batteries and that turned it around.
edit: I just read that there are several towers haha! I thought there was only one :)

@wo-ri-gou-le Thanks for comments, i did not get about UI intuitiveness. How could it be better for you? About collider - it is a little bit smaller than character sprite.

@ryusui Thanks, try to fix it ASAP

It's an interesting idea to combine a bullet hell with having to fetch items. I liked the hand drawn art style. The web build on the jam page didnt load past 0% but the itchio version worked fine. I will say I got very frustrated after my 5th or 6th time being nearly at full meter and heading back with enough juice, only for the meter to drain quicker than I could go grab batteries and bring them back. Maybe making it drain slower or not at all would feel better. With the bullet hell portion there is at least a skill aspect, but the draining feels like theres nothing you can do about it skill-wise.

@custodi I'll just stick to facts here, I played the game for like 4 times, only till the close to end of the 2nd, to realize the radio signal strength, and that capacity dots, exist. They are kind of important part of the design, but not delivered quickly, my attention have always drawn on those batteries and bullets, these two however, are semi-transparent and slim, so maybe just raise the size, or a quick mentioning at the start.

Also, just played again to confirm things, I found something interesting, I thought, that the rechage, was done by time, so you have to stick around that tower till it's chaged, and I thought that's quite brilliant design, cause it makes the game tense up a bit, dodge bullets in a small area while charging. turns out its not? But that was fun haha.

It's a neat gameplay loop, but the gameplay itself feels like it could be better described from moment to moment. Solid effort otherwise, with cute graphics and good audio!

It took me a some time to understand how to recharge, but once I got the gameplay loop of "grabbing batteries" -> "going back to the tower to fill up" -> "going further to get more batteries" it went better. I think that it would be clearer if the energy you'll get back was indicated a chunk of the bar with a different color/shape instead of a number in brackets. That being said, I liked the cute graphics, and overall I think it's an interesting concept, which could be expanded and iterated upon ? Nice entry !

Interesting concept! It's like a bullet hell but without being able to shoot, so just survive! found myself playing it for longer than I thought! It was fun, a good entry, well done!

Bullet hell combined with the existential dread of your phone battery running low... but the phone is you. Cool concept. I struggled hard, but managed to get into the third zone, where I quickly ran out of charge xD

Fun game, got stuck at the second level because it seemed like the meter wouldn't grow anymore, but that might be a me problem. Really nice bullet hell mechanics and balance

an enjoyable game! I liked how you implemented the sensor to detect where the tower is. Very smart and unintrusive. I had a few challenges dodging bullets at first, but thats all about the skill. Nice nice game, thank you!

I got to stage 3. Quite a decent game! The music and sound worked well with the graphics, and the gameplay was quite intuitive.

Lovely game! The gameplay feels solid. I really like the idea of dodging and collecting, and how going farther for items feels like a bit of a gamble. The dots above the character’s head showing collected energy are a bit small and hard to notice at first though. Good job overall

Great game! Simple but fun. Graphics is cute. The gameplay progressively gets hard, I died on stage 3 and the amount of bullets there was insane (however I died because I lost track of my own energy lol)

About everything I had to say about this game has clearly been said by everyone else, so won't go into the details. First impression was quite bad as I thought it was just a collect and deposit game, but then I was teleported around to the next location. Got quickly overwhelmed and couldn't really progress, but then again, missed a core mechanic.

Glorious. I had no trouble figuring out the UI and such. A level transition of some sort would have been a nice addition.

I liked the art and how the UI works. Nice concept, though it could use a bit more variety. It’d be great if the batteries provided their buffs or debuffs.

Looks great and the difficulty of dodging is pretty good (mostly in stage 2 - 1 is super easy and 3 is super hard but I guess there's something for everyone :P). From a game design perspective I would have avoided using energy for both winning (filling up) and losing (running out). On low energy there's (good) tension to not die, but beyond that it's kind of frustrating to creep towards the win, finding out every time that a delivery of batteries (even a full one) is not quite enough to fill up the radio station completely, so it drains again.

Nice game! Felt really well-crafted and progression was clear and easy to follow. I got to around 2-3 kwatt , then it became to hard for me :D. I liked the concept and became curios if there could've been some additional dynamics , like upgrades or modifiers that you would spend energy to purchase. Like walking speed, magnets, solar panels etc. Really cool! Thanks for sharing

Fun! Try again didn't work unfortunately. Consider making the outlines the same width in your assets. This is hard because this means you need to know the size of your asests before hand but worth it!
