I did find a bug where I couldn't place an object because there was no room left, and I had no option from what I can tell to pick a different object so I had to refresh the page.
It would have been super cool to get to watch the guests walk through the museum if you had more time to work on the game.
Maybe adding a "Move" option would be better
Anyway I give it 5/5 Like
@braeden I will make sure to pass on this game-breaking bug info to our programmers! I thought I had that happen during one of my playthroughs but actually had a whole extra room that opened up that I didn't see. Not sure if that might have been the case for you too. Either way thank you for giving it a 2nd go! Also, funny that you mention the idea of seeing the guests walking around the museum, that was actually a feature we started to implement early on but ended up having to cut due to time😅
@camcomduck @yibirabbit007 Being able to move exhibits was something that was brought up more than once during the jam😆 Definitely something we wanted to add, but I think the programmers spent a lot of time tackling placement/UI bugs before we could figure out implementing movement in a way that wouldn't make it too easy balance-wise in a game that's already fairly easy. But if we continue development this will for sure be a top priority! And thanks for the note about double clicking and accidentally placing, I'll pass that info on!
By the way, the in-game values seem very easy to control. By stacking beneficial items as much as possible, you can clear the levels quickly. However, the real-time increase of personnel points in the levels is not very noticeable, so maybe you could improve that.
Five stars from us)
For me what stood out to other games was the overall standard. I think it is easy in a jam to have one or many parts feel rushed or sub-standard but everything here felt like it had a good level of polish. The graphics, the UI, the SFX and music all done to a high level. Great job
The game is incredibly smooth and pleasant to play, everything from sound to graphics - well done. I wish I had this game on my mobile or switch so I can chill with it in my bed :)
