ALERT! SCREAMERS!

“Have You Ever Forgotten How to Die?”

Eightatwenty offers you that experience.

This game is a residency within the self, where rooms rearrange themselves daily, and loved ones dissolve into whispers of forgotten names: Maria… Sashinka…

Here, keys hide behind locks, the sun sets at noon, cats steal eyes, and the hangover from a bottle of “SYAGO” never truly fades. You are invited to witness the slow, inevitable erasure of ‘I.’ Watch as the ego unravels, thread by thread, until all that remains is an echo in an empty house—persistent, silent, marking not time passing, but time you have forgotten…

Wow. The voice acting, atmosphere, and overall tone of the game are top-notch. I had goosebumps the whole time, and that jump scare... A really good, creepy game.

Im a big fan of high-concept horror games where the main character gradually goes crazy.
I liked the visual style, but the music was a bit harsh on the ears.
Cool atmosphere, good game.

This game feels very eery. Well done! Sadly, I was not able to locate the key the second time (or third time?) and was not able to progress further. Any hints?

@bumble There’s a hint on the walls in the safe room (four symbols arranged there). It’s a puzzle my great-grandfather devised. Too bad he cheated on my grandmother, though :(

The mood and atmosphere really stood out for this game! Really well done. I really felt like someone slowly going crazy while playing this game :) Unfortunately I could not make it to the end because I could not find the shoes anywhere. I walked around for a long time trying to find them :/ Am I just blind or did something go wrong?

@wuppos In some places the shadows are very dark, and sometimes some things are not visible🌑... But in general they are in the room with the closet🤧.

GREAT atmosphere and voices. I liked it. Very tense game, as it should be(I got jumpscared by a particle at one point). Idea of giving a bit story as I progress kept me curious and made me want to see the ending. Really loved this one. Great game!

Intresting game. Really good mood with uncanny horror and not knowing what happens next. Had to use your hint for the keys in the safe, it came little abrubtly to have suddenly different puzzle even though i noticed the hint. I though maybe there is more hint later about the safe or smt.
I DID NOT LIKE THE JUMP SCARE, it was way too loud and hiqh pitch compared for the rest of the game since the dialogue is kinda muffled and quiet. Scare me but you made me turn my volume way lower for the rest of the game.

I really liked the sound design and the safe puzzle. The atmosphere is very effective and the floating animations were really cool. Interesting dust particle effect for the light windows. Some areas were a bit too dark and there was some harsh light flickering, but otherwise very effective. It felt very strange and the audio clips definitely help capture the "trapped in a dream" idea.

Very atmospheric and scary, excellent sound, congrats on conveying such a mood! Great LD entry. It does have some design flaws though that could be easily fixed. One is that most of the space is way too dark. The frustration of finding my way in the dark got the better of me at some point, so I gave up after finding about 10 objects. Another is that the speech is somehow unintelligible. It sounds like a low sample rate. It would help to have subtitles.
