Overview

Luck of the Draw is the roughest, toughest, and smallest turn-based strategy game this side of the board. Take direct control of the game tokens as you literally roll to hit - throw your dice at opponents in a hectic race to steal the other team's flag. If Lady Luck is in your favor, you can also turn the tides with three special dice! Will you outwit the opposition at such a small-scale operation?

Very cool! I like the gameplay, it feels quite unique to throw dice AT others. And then you got some extra upgrades in addition. I love the aesthetics overall, the catchy jingles, the dice animations, the small yet effective art style.

If anything, I wish the game had some banger theme going on in the background.

The art and sounds of this game were really outstanding! It was really fun trying to hit others with the dice! I just wish that there was some music added to this game.

one of my favorites of the game jam, i really like the overall gameplay and the pixel art is very well done. I really wish the cactus dice actually "blocked" pathways or damaged folks when they walked over it. otherwise, I really enjoyed my time and I played a ton with a friend! -me

i am the friend in question. this is the most complete feeling game i have experienced in the jam. it's impressively cohesive in style, audio, and visuals. i would love to play a more expanded version of this with friends. -the friend in question

Fun concept! The base mechanic of the game works really good. The audio and visuals are clear, so you always know what is happening.

For my personal taste the levels feel a little bit to big. Making them "tighter" would make the overall battle shorter, which would be a good thing in my opinion.

I like the different Power-Ups you can gain and also that opponents are out for a while when they have zero health left. Bonus points for the working Multiplayer. Very cool! :)

This is an amazing idea, I really enjoyed playing it, great implementation. I would like more types of dice, and the ability to choose them. But ill fit the theme in my opinion, but still, very cool!

Amazing work! So many details that really lifted the game. I loved how the dice would send objects flying and could recoil back at you! I first thought that throwing the dice on existing dies would combine their numbers. From what I understand they only serve as obstacles when throwing the dice, which wasn't really a problem in my opinion. The (fun) randomness of the throwing was there still. All over incredible work with game feel, with both visuals and sound. And a computer opponent on top of that! :game_die:

Wow, such a clever game! Loved it so much, really polish. IA balancing and behavior is great. Well done!

Maybe to had a level of strategy allow to share obtained dice between characters (allow to choose the one to use), but it's just a suggestion.
