So here's how it looks for me. The symbols have been compressed down a ton or something? Not quite sure if it's intentional or not.
As for the game, it worked well enough but there wasn't much to it, the 5 or so minutes playthrought felt repetitive.
Great job on the submission !
Everything is 2D graphics, tho our artist, @13x666 does his magic ✨✨✨ somehow and it works (honestly, he tried to explain to me how it works and I just didn't understand half of the words)
We usually were making hard to play games and people were reacting "off, did not understand how to play", so this time we made it more casual. People still fail it occasionally but usually they can solve it in the next run. For those who want hardcore gameplay – we added leaderboards. Try to beat them :D
So, yeah, we of course could make it harder and a bit less repetitive but decided to let more people play it without any issues. I've also wanted to add endless and harder mode, but could not find time for that. So maybe post-jam version would have it

Anyway, I hope it was not too boring for you and you enjoyed the game!
Here is my attempt:
https://youtu.be/WqNDTAks7xY
Idk if there's an ending but i completed around 20 tasks and it kept going
big GG
And also there is a "progress" of game in round window in the top bottom of your head
I was faced with the fact that the game refused to open in full screen. This made some symbols difficult to see.
Hope you really liked it

Apart from that the feedback was clear (for example when I crushed my car) :D and the music was very fitting. The game is super polished and that's very impressive!
As others have said, amazing work on sound design and overall style, love the art & animation.
We had simmilar idea on our brainstorm, but I don't think we could made it as well as you do. Perfection.
I remember being stunned by the wiggley-wormy game before, but this game is probably on par with it.
The fact that the music kicks in after the first mission is completed is a nice touch.
The units ack's are so cute. It makes ordering them to run around much more pleasant.
At first, I couldn't understand what's the challenge after you decipher what the game expects you to do. But then I failed the timings and it became apparent. :D Although I must say, the time bar works in a weird way, like the less time you have, the slower it runs out.
Is there a "good ending" when you were doing really well or it's an infinite game until you quit or lose?
Since I'm not sure I made it to the proper ending, I'll share some thoughts that may be invalidated in the parts of the game I couldn't (?) reach.
I would like to see some extra dimension in the puzzles at some point. Like some glyphs requiring not just any worker, but the one of the right color. These tasks could provide some extra time as they're harder.
Another layer could be synonyms. If we would expand the game into something that has its own alphabet, then it could be logical that there are multiple terms for the same thing. If we could introduce "words" or other combinations, then the player would have an extra phase of decoding the task (e.g. it says "foo", but in reality you need to use "bar", because those are the buttons available to you). Basically, it means that this game may have some potential to become a full-fledged game if you really want to.
Please tell me the game says that I was doing great:

Upd - it seems like there is even a leaderboard. I'll come back to this game a bit later.
Art & sound are very pretty (づ๑•ᴗ•๑)づ♡
I had a feeling that these missions are randomly generated, so it felt like an infinite game.
graphics, vibe and animations are great, very nice to play. Gameplay is not very difficult, especially when you remember the location of the symbols, but the idea is cool.
For those who want more hardcore - try beat leaderboard

Thanks for playing!
The only issue is that I couldn't see my own time when I got to the leaderboard.
Marvelous work, well done!
incredible work!! Everything is so polished and cohesive. The art and sound design is really inspiring. I wasn't very good at the actual game loop but I appreciated the creativity! I would love to explore this world using this style of point & click gameplay to be more of a slow-paced thinky puzzle, or lemmings kind of game rather than fast reaction times and high score though
It gets - I feel - quite hard if you mess up once. Is the timer to finish a task different if you failed once?
Great gameloop, well done!!!
The art stands out to me, it's incredible! It took me a while to even realise I was inside someone's head because of how long I spent focusing on other small details of the level. The UI too is crazy, I've never seen anything like it. I love how you've created a world, and a diagetic interface to fit inside of it and immerse the player in the game. So creative!
The audio is also really cool, really fits the vibe of the game, I love it!
Well done with this game, I'd happily pay good money for something like this.
I do think the timer seemed a bit odd, like it would just sit on empty for a while before docking points from me, I only actually managed to get it to fail me once by lounging around and doing nothing hahaha
But all in all you did an amazing job with this game!
It was a very polished and fun! I actually found it a bit challenging as it went on (partially maybe because I played with my laptops mouse).
Sorry for all the traffic accidents I caused failing to drive every time

Agree with blinking, I noticed it was a bit too quick in last hours, but it kinda got pushed away by "more important" tasks %)
That is not, of course, to say this is a bad game; I loved the whole atmosphere you've got going on, from graphics to cute sfx and a great soundtrack. I think it's only because you've set up such an interesting premise that I was mildly disappointed to realize there wasn't more content to explore.
But actually, if you look into message under HELLO HUMANS on itch.io you can go into deciphering it ;) Some people already did it, so it's definitely possible. And we have some hidden controls and easter eggs but please don't tell anyone! (though, do not expect much, it's all very simple. In the end, it's a game made win 3 days, not much things to invest time into)
So, please, write back something if you found my hint useful!
Animations and sound are beautiful. Well done, man
See my comment above yours :)
Gameplay wise it was fun but got quite repetitive after a while. Also, I would have liked to see my score at the end of the game.
Regardless, even though I felt I had seen all the game had to offer, I felt pressed on to continue till the end. I think the visuals and the music/design you have here are the main reason why. They are AMAZING ! From the UI to the animations of the little guys, from the subtle sound effects, to the enthralling music, everything feels so ... special ! I would defenitely love to see more of this universe.
This really is great work, congrats !
Yeah, gameplay could be more interesting and we already have some ideas for possible post-jam version. And yeah, we invested our efforts into something else and we even see people like gameplay and find it interesting enough. So may be a preference? (I myself also find it not so cool, although it's a bi-i-it deeper than you think from the first glance)
And sorry not to show you your score. I simply forgot to implement it :(
If you have submitted it, you can find it here: https://lb.yogurtthehor.se/api/v1/scores/55
Thanks for feedback!
Very fun to play! I loved the graphics and music. Despite the game's title, I didn't notice we were inside a head until I was halfway through the game. I guess the tiny creatures in my head were working on something else.
I tried to be as fast as possible, but I couldn't get the top record. At least I showed up in the leaderboard!

Special note on the music -
I really love not just the sounds you've come up with, which were wonderfully mechanical and alien, while still so groovy, but also the way it was implemented. Holding off having the first track drop until the first mini-puzzle was solved was so satisfying. Love the way this was all put together.
Was a big fan of your team's entry last year too! Very cool stuff.
Gameplay is a bit hectic and unpredictable with the symbols jumping every time - would have been cool if there was an extra pattern to keep track of so you can learn it.
Nonetheless, really great entry~
Plus, the concept of this and the execution are just soooooooooooooo clever and solid!
the idea is also very creative, using the tiny guys to control the body of a robot/alien? not entirely sure, but either way very inspired. I also love the alien language it's such a cool touch, music and sound design are also fantastic
the gameplay loop is fun, the difficulty increase is fair and well balanced. I played it multiple times to see if I could finish it in a shorter time, it got a little stressful to manage things as it went on but it was still very fun. it's a simple but effective
this is one of my favorite entries as far as graphics, I hope it ranks very high cuz it deserves to!
I really like how you were able to communicate the premise of the game without using words. Gameplay reminds me a bit of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. Scope here is pretty perfectly bite-sized to stay interesting without overstaying its welcome and getting boring. Absolutely fantastic work, great job.
lot of charms ! :)
