ZGN:10/10 Masterpiece
In the vibrant world of Dungball Domination, players step into the tiny but tenacious shoes of a dung beetle on a quest for revenge. This game excels not only in its unique premise—collecting dung balls and spreading them across various environments—but also in its stellar art design, captivating sound effects, and engaging narrative.

Art Design: A Visual Feast

The game’s art design is nothing short of breathtaking. Each environment feels alive and inviting. The character design is equally impressive; our hero dung beetle is animated with delightful expressiveness, making it easy to connect with its journey.

Sound Design: A Symphony of Sounds

Accompanying the stunning visuals is a sound design that elevates the gameplay experience. The sound effects of rolling dung balls, the satisfying squelch of spreading them on the floor, and the ambient sounds of nature create an immersive atmosphere. The soundtrack is catchy and uplifting, perfectly complementing the lighthearted tone of the game while enhancing the sense of adventure.

Engaging Gameplay: Humorous but Thought Provoking

The game mechanics are both fun and satisfying. Collecting dung balls is a core aspect, and the various challenges presented keep the experience fresh. The theme of tiny creatures is well captured by the players’ need to focus on avoiding being trampled by animals while navigating cleverly designed levels, and the ultimate goal of revenge adds an interesting layer to the narrative, keeping the player motivated to complete each mission while enjoying the process.

Operation Feel: A Pile of Shit

Unfortunately, the game's movement and steering systems are severely problematic. However, the poor control experience fits the theme of the game well, so it's not a deduction.

Conclusion: A Masterpiece of Playfulness.

Dungball Domination stands out as a top-tier title, seamlessly blending beautiful art, enchanting sound, and a charmingly absurd concept. This made me realize that there are other game teams besides Sony and Nintendo that can make such fun and wonderful games. It’s a game that invites players of all ages to embrace the fun of its premise while delivering a rich gameplay experience. With its perfect execution and delightful presentation, it earns a well-deserved 10/10. Prepare to roll into a world of whimsical adventure!!![屏幕截图 2024-10-09 085512.png](///raw/842/16/z/68241.png)

It's funny if you like poop jokes (I do 😁)

Hilarious! However a bit easy. I wish it didn't require to collect a single poop ball to win. The camera angle is tricky, it's hard to see in front of you and both whether you are about to get stomped or not, so I feel like it's mostly luck. However the graphics are great and the intro animation is amazing. Great creative work and congrats on your entry!

Love your take on the theme! - Dung beetle with this sort of game mechanic is a great idea! the hooves stomping and the panic of the animals around you felt awesome! loved it - unfortunately I found the controls to be a bit slugish, which caused me to lose interest - but other than that, great game! great job.

A bit strange. The controls were uncomfortable when you run into a wall.

Completely funny, if there is a mode that makes the ball roll more and more bigger, it will be interesting

Neat. Although I lost a lot of time at one point when I was near a wall and the camera kept spinning.

I like this funny idea and of course the gold opening screen. The game was very easy to win, but I played it a few times for fun. For me personally, there wasn't enough variety in the game mechanics, but anyway, good job!

🤣 This is really funny! I encountered some bugs as some of the 💩 was in unreachable places. But overall the challenge of not getting stomped on was entertaining.

The ball as currency (growing and painting the floor) was interesting, almost reminded me of Katamari and Splatoon combined. The camera angle felt weird, was sort of disorienting. Took me a minute to realize the HUD element on the right was an angry farmer. Full game loop worked, nice intro cutscene to set the tone of the game!

Hey @4tr33 ,

Thanks a ton for playing the game and dropping your feedback! 🙌

Just wanted to let you know that we added a new feature based on your idea! The ball now gets smaller as it rolls but grows bigger when the beetle collects dungpiles. It’s a bit of a twist, but we think it adds a fun challenge! 😄

Hope you get a chance to check it out, and we’d love to hear what you think of the update!

Cheers,

Good fun!

Very cool intro animations! Very impressed with the polish!
The audio was very catchy, and fit perfectly with the theme.
Gameplay was original! Nice touch with the rainbow dung. :)
Unfortunately, the controls had some issues, as it was easy to get stuck when going under some chairs(?).
And, I wish it was longer! :D

Overall, a great game!

Cool game, very fun. I really like your VFX; they add a lot of polish to the game. However, I encountered quite a few collision bugs when the player was in tight spaces, but it’s a minor issue — I was able to get out of it. Overall, it's a good game ^^
