Gorgeous pixel art. Pretty impressive that this is a multiplayer game (i was alone in the lobby). I didn't quite understand how the different traps worked.

Really cool Game. I like that you can activate traps by walking on a trigger. The Graphics are really cool. And it does make fun!

I honestly didn't expect that I would spend more than a few mins in the game, but I spent almost half an hour, which is an impressive retention for a game jam to me, this was pretty fun! Maybe it's because I like this genre, haha, but still!

I really loved the art style of this game. Maybe speed up the waves at the beginning could be nicer. Other than this liked the game overall.

Wow this is really ambitious and impressive for a game jam! And a 3-day jam to boot! The music was quite loud and overwhelming but that was the only thing I could fault. It's really good and as I said, a multiplayer game for a game jam? WOW! Super cool! I'd love to be able to play with someone else too!

I wanted to check out this game because the the pixelart looks absolutely amazing, it certainly didn't disappoint. I really like the organic theme, it really helps the game stand out

I like how the tower defense gameplay is handled here by being more interactive and requiring you to walk around the level in order to place the traps, its a very interesting idea. it took me a bot to realize that I need to walk over the eyes for the cheaper traps to work.

the gameplay loop is fun and the difficulty is balanced

good entry I enjoyed it!

@weirdbitgames Thanks! We way over scoped the game, multiplayer was probably a bad choice, but it works! 😅

There is a bug in the multiplayer version, where if you zoom out and there are multiple players in the game, the camera will zoom back in and center between the players, instead of following your character..... and it's not great. 😅

I've cleaned up the game, fixed some bugs, reduce the volume of the music(And added a volume slider), and added a couple of things and put the game up on Newgrounds. I'll update the fixed up version on itch too, after the voting period for the jam is over.

I didn't understand that I needed to step on the eyes at first - it didn't help that you could place over the same tile that the character exists in immediately as it didn't really occur to me that oh you're supposed to step on it as it activated the moment viruses started coming. Regardless, I thought that the graphics and presentation of this game worked really well for what it was trying to convey, and I could see myself playing this with some friends.

I wasn't sure if there was any other buttons, but using the mouse scroll wheel at all on web version was not working out well for me. If had any other key inputs for that, it would be appreciated. Good luck on the post-jam version work, and good job overall!

Hey! The pixel art is fantastic, and the organic theme is super unique. Loved the twist of moving to place traps, it kept the tower defense fresh. Took a second to catch on to stepping on the eyes, but once I did, it was a great. Gj!
