:joystick: Controls:
- :mousethreebutton: Play with Mouse
(you can also use keys 1-4 to select demons and R to restart)

- :paintbrush: Art: Photoshop & Piskel
- :sound: Sound: Ableton Live
Everything made by me in less than 72 hours except font ( Owre Kynge by jeti )

⚠️ Known issues - If the line spacing seems strange (i.e. options texts don't align with their sliders, texts overlap in the "how to play" section, or the demons price are strangely located), try playing the game on another browser! Nothing game breaking, but it can be visually annoying... - Sometimes the Torpedo Imp doesn't destroy all the rocks in its path. I have no idea why this doesn't work. It's quite rare, and the rocks can be destroyed anyway with another launch. - If a rock is really close to the border and you throw a Toxic Fiend, it can happen that this ball explodes twice: once where the rock is, and once a little bit later, on its second collision. As well as the previous bug, i don't know why it happens... - There is a kinda game-breaking bug where you can summon balls even if you don't have enough souls to do that normally. I won't tell you how to do it but if you ever find out, please be kind and don't abuse this haha

The graphics are fantastic as well. Everything looks beautiful. I gasped when I saw the vegetation in the background of the itch.io page match the vegetation in the game (visual continuation). I wonder if there is an alternative design for the souls that looks more like souls. That would make it feel more on theme.
I only played one game, however I can see myself playing it again in the future. Congrats for such a nice game, and thank you for sharing!! 👏
How can we stay in touch with your work, and/or reach out to you if needed?

I like the sound effect !

Here's my highscore so far. Will definitely come back and play again haha.

I loved the overall presentation, and the core gameplay is super intuitive. The different balls have interesting effects, and the difficulty progression is perfect.
Awesome job, impressive for a solo made game.

One game-breaking but probably rare bug - Shatter Bogey can potentially get stuck in infinite bounce patterns, so might want to add a timer to him.

He's been at this for like 20 minutes now.
Great work!

I think if I practice again, I can score higher! I want to download the Windows version!
I want to exceed his score! @bad-fetus
@dasilvacontin thank you so much for this feedback! you can join me on the LD discord, i have the same username :)
@kuviman @javid-ladhani @yellow thanks for playing and posting your highscores. unfortunately i scored a 2428 yesterday, so you have a new goal now ;)
@monika oh no hahaha i knew it COULD happen, but i'm surprised it actually did happen!
I've encountered a bug where some rocks weren't breakable by the Torpedo Imp - It flew right through, though I don't complain much, as they didn't break the gameplay or anything, and Toxic Fiend was able to destroy them if that was needed!

Fun game! I'm impressed you managed to make the power ups so balanced. You can't just use the more expensive option because it's better, you need to make sure that you will get more out of it. The music is really good, as well as the sound effects increasing as you get a higher multiplier. Just a really solid and fun arcade game. Great job!

And I'm the host for the ludum dare score chasers tournament this Ludum Dare. Wanted to ask if youre fine if I put some gameplay of the game in an intermission video. Last year for reference:

new WR. :)
In Main menu mouse movement was a bit "drunken", but in game itself I didn't have any problems with controls.
I love the art of ball types, it's really cute, and different types were interesting and different enough, providing effects that all can be useful in different situations. My favourite is 20p ball, both by badass design and effect :)
I had fun playing and even got a semi decent score, I think ^-^

Nothing to criticize really. Except maybe the "juice" that is not bad but could be better. This is the kind of game really benefit from being very juicy.
It felt very satisfying to get a long streak of hits with those hit sfx!
I do have one bug that I don't think has been reported yet. If I press and hold one of the 2-4 keys, I am able to summon any demon without having enough points to do so. For example, I got 16 points, I press and hold 2 and click and I can summon a torpedo imp. The game just deducts 5 points, which I guess takes the price from the currently selected demon before holding the 2 key. It's not 100% consistent, sometimes I have to spam click a little, but it's very consistent.
I hope this helps!
Other than that, I had a lot of fun playing, and I can see a lot of ways you can expand this game!
@andidebob thanks for the idea! if ever i work on a post-jam, i think i'll implement that!
@macron @redoxeide cool thank you for finding bugs! i don't understand why the torpedo imp sometimes doesn't destroy some rocks, that's strange. i was aware of the bug that makes it possible to throw a ball even when you don't have enough souls to buy it, actually i think it's @saryah who found it on a stram! argh
@bad-fetus bad news for you, a friend has played Chazm yesterday and got 11667, so new new WR haha

The gameplay is simple and addictive,
I understand the peggle comparisons, but
I really like the morphing playfield and
how a sure shot can reflect about creating
a whole other setup next shot!
I dig it!
all round Great Work!

Good job!

@hexy @gustav-erlangsen thanks for your feedback too, and for pointing out the clumping being annoying sometimes!
@lereveur i'm speechless! how much time did it take?
