Good game, I dunno if it's just me but the color is hard for me to play, some parts have a strong light to my eyes. But overall I love the concept and the animation is very good. Keep it up!

You do not know how much i've been seeking for actual games with that kind of gameplay, and WITHOUT adds and predatory monitization ;O; This is so cute and fun to play haha. I really love how well the concept fits to the theme

Really fun concept, good art seeing the various sheep types and I really thought it was a nice touch to have a wolf creature lead the pack. Power ups feel good and then the gates you choose to increase/decrease your herd is a good decisive way to play the game and steer left or right.

I enjoyed building up a larg3e number of units and some of the abilities. A bit like a vertical scrolling shooter in disguise really :)

The music did well with the atmosphere, though Wrath of the Lamb was clearly an influence on the art style ;)

There is something about the rendering that causes some eye strain for me too.

Oh my god, this is the same game from advertisements in mobile games! This is very exciting, much cooler than I thought! The atmosphere of dark magic greatly enhances the gameplay and increases the tension! Cool!

Fun idea! I also always saw the advertisment and was disappointed that a lot of these games dont have the same gameplay as displayed :D
The peformance is a bit laggy, also some physics are a bit scetchy. for example its a bit unclear what happens if the group of sheep gets seperated in Level 2. I got a game over because the smaller group died on one side while the other group was doing fine :(

@p3ngui Yes, we don't make a clear tutorial about these mechanics. Also for the performance it's a little bit annoying, that's why we capped the visible sheep to 100 in Web version, you can try the windows export version, thanks for your comment 🙂

I thought the game was pretty funny and the the visuals are solid!

the gameplay is good for what it is, I found the levels to be pretty enjoyable, I found the physics to be a bit wonky at times, but it didn't ruin the experience or anything.
I have encountered a a glitch where the kraken tentacles remained on screen, it went away when I used them a second time.

also at some point I managed to crash the game somehow

It does take a while to load, and yes press space can work strangely sometimes. Maybe if you have time try again, to play as the Master of the Pack and let us know if you enjoyed it ;)

Awesome entry! The art reminded me of Cult of the Lamb, which is a great thing. This was hilarious and super fun to play.

Straightforward and fun + well made game! It felt a bit too easy? but maybe i didn't play long enough for it to get hard.

Nice and fun, I'm not sure about the Sheep Norris and the Kraken, I thought the BomberLamb most useful, I've reached the Victory with them.

Loved the look and feel! I wondered if that mobile ad game actually existed. As Pat said, the first ability seemed to be sufficient (and was far cheaper). I liked the barriers, forcing you to take 2 options. Great music/art. Nice work!

I ran into a collision issue where I somehow activated both the positive and negative effect. The sound effects are triggered for abilities/summons even when you don't have the mana/points. Pretty cool to see the meme of mobile advertisement game put into the jam. :)

This was super neat, not sure I understood the point of the kraken, it meant I had to do the entire second run with my vision all blurry which made it hard to pick the right gates which was a great challenge. Super well done.

I can't decide if it's a feature or a bug that summoning a giant, muscular sheep should tank performance for a couple of seconds, it feels legitimately fitting.

Fun little game all in all. I like how deciding between gates seems like a no-brainer at first but then becomes a balancing act when they start stacking and you get fences between them.

Well executed. Good visuals and finally, that game we all saw but never played in the ads :D
Though I encountered 2 issues. One os the bug where the Kraken will not disappear when active while going through the portals. The other issue is, that the cards are to big and obstruct vital viewspace hiding the character you contro.

It’s one of my personal favorites in LD55. Gameplay is extremely addicting. Art style is cute and polished. Skills are well designed. One minor issue I encountered, blur caused by Kraken makes the selections hard to see (which can be an intentional design choice to lead to a trade-off, I am not sure) Excellent job!

Very interesting! I liked the game overall, the art and audio was fun. Really reminds me a lot of those mobile game ads that pops up from time to time haha. Good stuff!

Very fun and cute! Absolutely adored the art style - and this genre matches the jam theme to a T. Very solid entry - great work!

It felt like all those youtube ads with this gameplay were but you guys showing off your prototype! Instant advertisement right?

And it works. The gameplay is fun and engaging. The web version was awfully choppy from the get go on my machine, but the exe worked just fine. The 3 summons were simple enough to understand, though I personally feel the balance of the summons wasn't up to speed, I felt like the Kraken was more bells and whistles than actual effectivity, and the timing gap for the Sheep Norris was kind of an issue to tackle, so in the end the Kamikaze Bomber Sheep ended up being a solid option throughout.

The art is pretty effective, I love how cute it feels, it just feels like a nice nod to cult of the lamb. Cult of the wolf! The music vibes perfectly, the art works perfectly, and if there was one thing to talk about maybe it is how you start with the amount of sheep you had when you died last, not sure if it was intentional but definitely made it so I could game the rules until I managed to have tens of thousand of sheep within my dominion.

But a very solid entry, all around great game!

One of the most fun games I played this jam. I liked some of the animations it had going once ya went trough the portal. It was really nice both art, music and vibe wise and everything blended well together. *Blergh* sheep throwing up sfx (or so it sounded like to me, lol)

Game controls was easy and I can see myself possibly continuing to play this a few times more at least the jam version, even if I tried like 3-4 times now, lol gotta try to get far or win at least once if there is an ending. I saved it on my itchio library to play more later! Would be cool if this was expanded more on outside the jam, it has potential as far as I can see. I would play it at least I can say even if it was just a mini game. Great work! C:
