Liked your idea on resource management and mini-evenets with changing room of monsters
Thank you for submission!
The graphics are awesome and look very polished. The music was nice. But the best aspect (and a surprise for me) was the game mechanics. I very much enjoyed it and played multiple rounds. It was an engaging puzzle with multiple dimensions. Blood, the demon count meter, the rooms, the random events, the key combinations and trying to find the perfect timespot where to stop buying monsters for the engine and sit back and generate blood for the end score.
I had a blast, and will send the link to my nephew. He would enjoy it as well.
Thanks for the entry!
Good job!
I like incremental games, and hard-capping the time limit to turn it into more of an efficiency race was a great idea. Also clever to have some units add chaos while others cleanse it, resulting in a bit more strategic thinking than just "click biggest guy as soon as available". Would've been nice to be able to swap demons by dropping one on another, otherwise you can't take advantage of the bonuses once the rooms are full. Or perhaps that's another small avenue of strategy!
I like the music a lot too! Couldn't find a credit for it though.
Well done overall :)
Very polished game, nice art and it feels an plays like full and released project. Really nice!
- quick, fun gameplay
- a really good twist on the clicker/idle game genre, for one thing, it was anything but idle.
- Love the art.
- The balancing of both chaos and time made for a fun optimization challenge.
- really liked the music and sound.
- replayability.
The Not So Good:
- Tutorial was a bit lacking I feel, there were a few mechanics I didn't understand until my second or third playthrough, but otherwise, really good!
Design notes:
- The little bonuses on the side could be a little better marked, maybe a simple UI element that says "current effect" or "current buff" or something like that.
- As said above the optimization loop is really fun. I am curious how much tweaking and balancing you did with the different demons.
TL;DR
Fast paced gameplay, very busy clicker-like mechanics, good use of the theme, with some great art and aesthetic.

I'm not sure if I was just slow but I didn't get to utilize the room bonuses that much in late game. And some of the early ones were for unavailable units.
Great job, easily one of my favorites this jam!

Art is funny and creative. Didn't encounter any bugs. I'm amazed that everything was done in such a short period!
Don't really know if there's anything to criticize. Maybe for further development it'd be great if you could always use arrow combinations without clicking, which could raise the skill ceiling (maximizing APM).
Thank you for your game, it's so inspirational and cool!
Overall really polished! My only real complaint is the 'rooms full' error was easy to miss, so I put in the code for a monster a few times thinking I'd messed it up before I actually noticed the pop up, overall incredibly well done!

And I'm the host for the ludum dare score chasers tournament this Ludum Dare. Wanted to ask if youre fine if I put some gameplay of the game in an intermission video. Last year for reference:

The drawing is simply magnificent!
The gameplay is also interesting, the game has its own style and charm.
Thanks for the video game.
Of course you can, it's a pleasure for us. Thank you for playing our game in livestream!

edit: had to go for first

Well done sir, I accept defeat :D

I managed to get an S (140005) in the end, that felt good. I like the dynamics generated by the blood/madness relation, it really made me think about how I could optimize my strategy to get an higher score. You did an amazing job at making a game that is truly entertaining in such a short time.
I wish there was a reason to keep using the weaker monsters even in the later parts of the game, so my Pierchiccos would still have a reason to live :)
If you ever need someone to work on the audio for your next jam, you can always reach out to me :D
good graphivs, and fun !
litle bug, one demon moved to a room, but the counter stay on the past room, so i have a room at 1 when nobody is in and 1 wich 0 when one demon is in, (and -1 when no demon).
except this litle bug, very good job !
* The house is super pretty. It looks just the right amount rickety and charming!
* Overall atmosphere of the game, with visuals&music&animation feels so fun and light-hearted, really puts a smile on your face ^v^
* Opened in a browser and at first it went nicely fullscreen, but then I switched tabs to write down first impressions and now it's cut off on the sides ;-; Had to zoom out the page to fix the issue ^^'
* I like how there's arrow keys input for summoning, adds more interactivity, nice touch!
* Cute monster design ^^
* Credits are really cute too! Especially Donata, adorable x)
