How to Play

The robots are coming for your mainframe! They start at the arena's outer doors and move inwards. Kill the enemies before they reach your mainframe.

As an Arsenal Toy, you have the option to Shoot, to Dash, or to Summon! Dashing and Shooting take from your Energy Bar, so to be most effective, you should Summon!

Summon?

You summon helpers to help protect your mainframe! Kill enemies to get Resources! Use those resources to summon Allies!

Allies

  • Option Ship - Will hover around you and protect you for 15 seconds! Can't be killed, won't last forever either.
  • Scuttle Square - A ranged attack enemy that will track down your opponents across the arena!
  • Stabby Square - A melee type enemy that will rush your opponents down! Cheap, but lack of range means they aren't as effective.
  • Turret Sentry - A stationary turret that will protect a single space with gusto! Very good for single areas, but can't defend themselves from groups well.

Other Summons

You can use resources to either heal yourself or your Mainframe!

How to Win

Defeat all of the waves without your player or your Mainframe dying!

Very cool game, art and sound is a solid addition to the game. Inverted Y controls felt weird at first but thankfully you can spam summon minions to fight for you. Nice work!

I can agree with @dagunov the camera controls have some sort of problem. However, the mechanics here are solid.

Even though it doesn't have anything to do with anything, i kind of wish you could jump on the large structure in the middle. it'd make it feel more real. Also, the room felt a little too big. It kind of made me feel like I was playing a toy.

This was a vibe, I think you really nailed the colourful kids toy aesthetic. I could 100% see the (much) younger me having a great time playing with that looked like this. I think the other comments talking about the camera are right, it could be better but this is a jam, everything could be better and I think it's perfectly serviceable once you get used to it. Shooting is fun, enemy designs are really good and it's a nice way to include the theme as well. Very solid entry, great job.

I love 3D stuff like this, brings me right back to the Playstation 1. I feel this might've been going for a bit of a Megaman in 3D thing. Kind of like legends, but distinct from it for sure. You nailed that whole toy aesthetic with the massive room and bright colors.

I gotta agree with others about the camera, something about it feels a little off about it. I'd suggest having the option to invert the vertical camera control. Another thing is I wish there was some kind of reaction animation and sound effect to getting struck by those enemies.

Those aren't damning criticisms at all, I absolutely love this game. Ya'll have a very competently put together third person shooter here, and in a very short amount of time. That's really impressive!

You have a good base for a fun little action game here! I agree with the people above that a bit of camera controls options would help.

I like the 3D graphics but I think the textures could use some more details. The map is too large, I think. The camera controls are uncomfortable and it stops working when you focus out of the window when pressing tab. Also the camera angle feels a bit weird for shooting. Otherwise, good job team!

Nice little experience, didn't initially know how this implemented the theme or how I could use the gears, untill I scrolled down on the page a bit and saw the controls and saw that I could summon helpers.
that, and the inverted vertical looky, are the only downsides I can see for a jam game. Very well done!

Cool game! The controls were a little janky, as it was hard to properly aim at things since you had to press w to actually make your character face the way the camera was looking, but overall it was fun!

This was a super fun game! The Y axis was inverted for me but I still beat the game!

Heaps of fun, I enjoyed playing this one a lot. Great work team!

Music and art style was on point, gameplay felt pretty good.
The camera was a bit wonky, but workable... that being said, inverted Y is the bane of my existence!

I think a few QOL things like mouse-look rather than WSAD to face char, option to have inverted Y or not, and a bit of a tutorial at the start would have done wonders but understandable to not get it done in the time-frame.

I had a heap of fun playing though, and loved the music and voice overs.
