The soundtrack perfectly creating the atmosphere! Impressive!
I take it the soul never left this place?)
Second, as mentioned before in other comments, character movement is tad slippery making it a bit difficult at points to control the character.
I like the theming and how you incorporated the restriction.
The audio isn't too good in my opinion especially since you warp into a body rather consistently. I'd either do a different sound or adjust the audio balance to not be as long. :)
Overall, not a bad title. :)
Feels super polished, and the art and vibes are great! The mechanic is also fun.
In terms of criticism, I'd say that the movement feels floaty when getting into a body and I would fall just after snapping into one (maybe reset the velocity and give the player some time to adjust).
@supergamersgames Thank you! yeah I know it was a little slippery, its such an easy adjustment too, I just must have got used to it early and didn't have time to let someone test it. As for the audio, yeah 48 hours is rough, it was my last hour or so, just bringing up ableton to put together something and the sound effect was just a synth playing a couple notes in the same key as the background track. Thanks for the feed back!
@goddzeproject Thank you so much! I really appreciate that it means a lot <3
@jiri-one Thank you, said this in previous comments, but super agree about it being a little too floaty! such a simple fix too D:
The only thing that isn't great is, as others have pointed out, the move speed. And maybe not being able to use arrow keys.
I like the stacking mechanics: conveyors + movable characters + body swap make it interesting.
I have to agree with other commenters about the movement though.
It's so slippery. xD
Feels like we're walking on ice and/or our feets are covered in some liquid that makes us slide constantly. xD
Slipping aside, the controls are simple and easy to learn. The in-game hint helps too.
The music is fantastic as well. I think this is either #1 or #2 my favorite track on this jam so far.
The other cool track being in a Super Cube game by @senso
The theme is interpreted as in "you can't go far away from a physical body", if I get it right. It's quite a good angle on that.
The graphics are stellar. 5/5 here without any hesitation. If I put 5 anywhere, it should be here.
The only thing that bothered me was the controls that are a bit frustrating to use. There is too much momentum while tethered and the movement doesn't feel precise.
Thank you for making the game!
This was one of my favorite submissions, I really enjoyed this one.
