It was really cool. The music was weird at the start but I get used to it. It was fun, I did a score of 138.

- Nice music with clean simple art and fitting music and sounds
- Allowing player to just spam shoot without any penalty made me spam click my mouse, which is not the most entertaining.
- Does seem to rely on the luck of getting the big enemy to border reset, although I think sometimes it reset for no reason? ![Zrzut ekranu 2023-10-02 145619.png](///raw/9a8/25/z/5d310.png)

Nice music. It was weird to me how movement is on ESDF instead of WASD. Juicy effects!

Realllly cool entry! I had a lot of fun playing this, the music was great and the concept is really effecient and addictive.
Just a Pico-8 tip: you can store things like highscores quite easily using cartdata() and dget()/dset(), look it up in the manual, that way the highscore doesn't get lost when restarting the game.
Anyway, really great job!!

Catchy music, the game is simple yet enjoyable. There could be more weapons or powerups but it`s fine as it is.

Funny how similar our games ended up being despite different engines and ideas. I had fun with this. Decent challenge and a nice amount of PICO-8 juice. Always nice to come across pico-8 games in LDJam

Good game ! Simple idea, loved the PICO-8 aesthetic/mood. Great music as well, very solid effort overall.

I got a score of 1603. I love how the space gets smaller but at the same time everything goes batsh!t! haha, Good job!

Cool game, I've played (and tried to make) a lot of pico-8 games and never seen one use the mouse before but it worked really well

Great across the board. Addictive, a great use of the theme as the defining mechanic, and catchy music!

Fun and quick. Quick enough for one more round! I'm sure I can beat my high score...

2878\. My sore mouse hand would appreciate some sort of autofire.

Really cool game! It would be useful to be able to fire at max speed by holding the button, instead of having to press it every time, especially that the firing rate is quite high. The bullets move slowly, which makes the game confusing at the start, but adds a high skill ceiling: although the enemy paths are very predictable it's often not obvious if you will hit the enemy or if you should shoot some more bullets just to be sure. I would decrease the hitboxes a bit, to allow dodging more enemies on the screen at the same time and increase that stressful feeling of fitting in tight spaces. The soundtrack is simple, but very enjoyable and does not feel repetitive.

This gave me strong Commodore 64 vibes and really linked back to my youth. The gameplay was simple but very engaging and quite fun!

This is a very polished game! I was surprised at how finished it felt. The music was on point and the gameplay was satisfying. Actually, probably the best music I've heard so far. Very well done.

I love the simple, yet charming visuals. I'm just a big sucker for good pico 8 games and this is a new one to add to my list. Good job!
