second interval by ty_
second interval is a music-centric exploration platformer, made for ludum dare 51.
the melody is broken, scattered across the world in minor second intervals, floating around various forests and biomes. deposit and construct the melody every ten seconds that you collect. restore peace and joy to the world, and listen to the song come alive!
use arrows or wasd to move and jump.
play with sound on for the full experience.
this game was made for ludum dare 51, for the theme "every 10 seconds". my interpretation of the theme is of the musical meaning of "second", an interval between two notes.
everything in this game was made in 48 hours by bucketfish.
hope you enjoy!

All in all a very solid game and can tell a lot of hard work went into it.
The chalky art-style was fantastic. Lots of potential, of course, but also just such a great game for 48 hours.
I would have love to find more challenge, with obstacles or enemies, but I understand the very peaceful tone of the game.
Very happy to see games where music has an important place (I tried to do that in a different way in my game).
Well done :)

The intro was gorgeous, and the music was really cool. The platforming was a little uninteresting, but you had a really imaginative take on theme. Well done!
One thing I wanna say is that I do think that the collecting SFX can sometimes clash a bit with the BGM, and how jumping/hitting other boxes sometimes accidentally cuts out the previous audio. But I'd love to see an expanded concept of it in the future though! Could see the passion poured into the game :)
Really lovely!
