Peekaboo by VictorFinger
The Game
There's been a mass breakout at the local mental institute! Deranged individuals are on the loose, and while the police are collecting crazies, you need to protect yourself from anyone entering your property using your modified fusebox with the ability to tase people! Will you survive long enough for the police to come?

Controls:
E to toggle the selection of objects (so you lock onto the computer, onto the fusebox, onto the door), LMB to interact with interactable objects (you left-click to switch cameras, left-click to tase, left-click to look through the keyhole).
IMPORTANT:
You need audio to play!
How to play:
You need to keep an eye on the cameras surrounding your house, and make sure that you know where any deranged individuals are at, then you need to open your fusebox and zap them. If you manage to use the taser-fusebox on the place where the crazy is at then the crazy will retreat.
PRO TIP: IF YOU HIT HIM YOU WILL HEAR HIM SCREAM, AND HE WILL MOVE AWAY FROM YOU! IF HE DOESN'T SCREAM THEN HE'S MOVED CLOSER TO YOU!
Good luck!

However, the biggest problem of the game is the lack of feedback for a timer, at least some sound of ticking. Also, there are no sound cues when the enemy moves.
Anyway, good job.
geniounly one of the scariest games I played in a while I think it does a great job at playing the anticipation game, letting the player's nerves burn slowly before anything happen. and I love it for that!! reminds me a lot of 5 nights at freddy's. I really wish you guys get work on this further and publish it on itch at one point... anyway I think the only thing I didn't like is that the game was a bit heavy for my Gt1030, it was quite laggy which shouldn't be the case for a mostly static game, I'm pretty sure you can optimize it to a point where it can run on relativly low end devices while still maintaining a playable quality, but that's just me talking... anyway really great work. this was one hell of an experience for me!
Loved everything about it, simple yet tense. May be a creepy music would have added more but I'm not even sure, the quiet tension is always a good horror tension builder!
I'll have to give it a try tonight...
Didn't move at all. Will try again on a decent PC.
I tried again now, different PC, works way better.
A bit sad I didn't get to see the spooky skeletons
I think you definitely nailed the horror game atmosphere :)
But il really liked your game.
Well done !
