minigames! by thyoi
I already felt intense vertigo, I had to sleep and wasn't sure when I would wake up.
The game is finished, but I don't have time to edit the poster before I recover.
I uploaded the source code and the release version on Github, you can download it and play it. Or you can hang out and wait for me to upload a web version (recommended)

Really cute spritework and great bgm and sound effects! Wish I could have seen my total score at the end.
Well done!
Thanks for playing. The score is only part of the explosion effect, so there is no counter
It may be a short experience but its really solid such a joy to play through i feel it perfectly captured the level of quality you can get in a game jam and to me this screams quality.
It had such a distinct style, personality, the art and sound effects really drew me in to the game and i was fully engaged.
The feedback was great with the explosions, score numbers (even if they didnt mean anything), and sounds.
I love the re-use of the assets across multiple minigames that really felt like it tied each one together.
The idea of changing minigames and having to quickly work out the controls, and rules was so fun and i felt very innovative. I couldnt wait to see each one!
I also loved the twists on the established games (the tic-tac-toe stands out to me in particular i lost it when the ai went outside the grid! Amazing!) I got the distinct impression of some Undertale influence which worked in this very well!
A couple of the minigames could leaned further in playing with expectations (the cross street and whack-a-mole ones seemed pretty straight forward) but understandably i imagine you'd need to balance how much time you can spend coming up wit the twists
The idea of making a series of minigames is incredibly ambitious for a game jam. You had to make like half a dozen games and i think the amount you made and the quality of each is admirable!
The only thing missing for me is a fail condition and/or scoring system to really drive me to replay.
Taken as a chill, interactive experience though this is a 10/10. The theme is well utilised, the experience is small but really engaging, and it has a distinct personality.
Honestly im usually a bit more critical but this is but you've really done a terrific job i'm really happy i got to experience it. :)
I think I may just found the problem you are talking about today. There's a pretty serious bug in the level named CP. It's actually a very classic game where the player flip two cards and keeps them if they are the same. I forgot to stop the player from clicking a filped card.
Anyway thanks a lot for your feedback!
for some minigames i first thinked i have to play with WASD before i understand that i have to use the mouse, but it's not a big problem)

Also very creative and polished.
While playing it, I thought it must have been done be a team,
but you're just 1 person.
Wow
(I'm also glad I'm not the only one who put an amogus in my game)
I really got the fun and relaxed. Not all the games were clear to me, the scoring system was also not obvious, but the narrative and atmosphere of the game suggests that the main thing is the process.
Charming character and audiovisual style.
I'm glad you played my game.
