It is easy to get lost, at least for me :D But overall cool simple game and nice concept of the theme, well done! :)

If I had one suggestion, it would be to make the grab a toggle. The g is just a little bit of a stretch to hold while using the movement keys. Other than that, it was a clever concept. It kinda reminds me of my first LD game https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/midnight-manor

Cool idea! I liked the maze-like aspect of trying to find all of the fuel cans. The art was cute! The one thing I struggled with was being able to jump over the enemies- I always just barely clipped them and lost HP. Aside from that it was fun!

Ah a time to run - I got under way pretty fast, slightly held back by the awkward holding 'G' and moving with awsd, but that kinda represents your hands being full?
The enemies didn't pose that much of a problem, could avoid them ok.
I also accidentally pushed the dashed block in front of the generator, blocking the access!

Pretty fun little game where I had to balance jumping through doors and trying to remember the way back.
Would have been good to have a little 'tense' music going - without that it was a bit too 'chill'.

Nice little platformer! I think it would be good to turn up the character speed a little bit, it felt a little slow and floaty at times, tricky to jump over the enemies. I agree with the other commenter, the controls for picking up and dropping gas cans could be improved, holding it down was some keyboard gymnastics! (also my non-gaming keyboard won't let me press that many letter keys at the same time!) I also found myself getting lost quite easily, adding some random graphics to different areas may help with memorability so the player stands a better chance of retracing their steps.

I enjoyed it though, the graphics are cute and the level is pretty nicely designed with well hidden gas canisters!

I like how you interpret the theme through your game. The game was also quite enjoyable. However, a suggestion from me is to make the control for grabbing gas cans a toggled one or maybe change the keybind to another keybind that won't 'disturb' the WASD fingers as we need to hold the gas can while moving our character. A solid game nevertheless, nicely done :)

Enjoyable game! Keyboard controls were a bit awkward, where it could just be 1 button to interact with whatever it is you need to interact with. For example health pickups dont need a keybind, and maybe toggle to hold the gas can, instead of hold like another user mentioned. Controls are a bit floaty with the jump, and slow with the speed, but I actually got pretty invested in the core loop itself. Was tense! All in all well done!

@skylife Yea i agree it is easy to get lost but when you play the game more you get used to it. Thanks for feedback btw

@geraldfingburke I wanted to make it toggle but i didnt know how well it fitted the game, so i decided to go with hold G. Probably gonna change the Grab key later.

@slimabob Yes its bit hard to jump over enemies but there are ton of health packs/med kits around the map which you can find, also Thanks for the feedback! :)

@joror I didnt want people to have hard time holding A,D and G at same time lol, i just made it like that not expecting it would be hard for other people. I wanted some music in the game but since i was focusing on other stuff to put in the game i didnt put any music. Thanks for the feedback btw! :)

@ciaranw In my opinion the players speed is good enough, as i said to the third commenter there are alot of health packs or how ever you say it around the map so if your health gets low just use the nearby health pack with F, Probably gonna change the Grab key with holding LMB or something to make it bit easier, when you play the game more you eventually know which door goes to. Also thanks for the feedback!

@bruhohoho I am planning on changing the Grab key to something more easy. The player is controlled with A and D or with Arrow Keys. Thanks for the Feedback btw :)

@ratface Thanks for liking the game! Originaly Health packs were supposed to be used when touched but i didnt think it fitted very well so i changed it on being used with F, i changed to that because maybe you would have full health and you accidentally touch the health pack not wanting to use it. Also thanks for the feedback!

Holding G while moving is weird and the jump is low and floaty feeling. Other than that it's a solid jam entry

Having to hold G at the same time as moving is very strange. As simple as the concept seemed, I was not able to make it work, the canister kept floating off the screen and then seemed to respawn and move a certain distance from the robot.

The game is a fun concept, but the controls need some work I think. Holding G to hold an item, and everything having its own unique interaction key feels a bit much. I think some simplification could be done here. I also had a bug where the gas can flew away from me, and I couldn't let it go or place it in the generator. Good submission otherwise!

Nice game, I liked how the cans gave me more time to keep hunting, that was a well thought out mechanic! As others are saying, the controls are really rough. I would definitely have preferred grab as a toggle, and it would be nice if you could enter a door by pressing up (W key) when standing in front of it.

Nice game! I liked the fact that you had to hold down the G to keep holding the can rather than a toggle, although I did keep getting lost trying to find my way back to where to deposit the gas so something like a map might have been a nice thing to have. Overall though it was a fun game to play, great job!

Not bad! If you continue the development it would be nice to have a map. Besides that, nice game! Well done!

Had lots of fun, good work! Although the generator would sometimes not detect the gas can and that made me waste quite a few seconds.

Agreed with some others that I was a bit surprised by the 'G' control, but after rearranging my hands a bit it all felt pretty natural, just not a setup I was used to :) I think it would have been nice if I could move a bit faster and the jump were a bit less floaty, but overall this is a really polished entry, nice job!

I like the maze idea, definitely takes a lot of skill. Although making different-colors or otherwise distinctive rooms might help the player orient themselves a bit, like maybe a spent fuel pool, a control room, or just a janitor closet.

I wasn't really able to get around (jump over) enemies, you can kind of avoid them by pushing them with fuel tanks, but overall I would have liked to finish the game.

Highlighting which door is the shortest route to the engine would have been really helpful, and the jump feels floaty. That being said, I really liked the search for cans and how you could push away enemies with the physics objects/held cans instead of a traditional "oh you HAVE to run" system or a more explicit way of disabling them.

I wish you could also grab boxes so you could stop enemy robots even without gas cans.

Sadly, I instantly died when two enemies were sitting right on top of the other side of a door. Maybe giving doors a safe radius would have also been cool?
