This is a pretty fun & silly game! I like being able to push around a bunch of the objects and the conceit of randomized weapons was pretty interesting to play around. I would like it if some of the weapons were automatic, my finger got a little tired.

If I had to sum it all up, I would say: This game made me truly FEEL like my hero, pickle rick. 🥒🥒😢🥒🥒

Very fun game! Love the voice work "yer not picklin me!" Weapons changing is cool, and the graphics are crisp and wacky. Nice to have the music too, even if it was simple, but that's all it needed.

In the end the zombie pickles teamed up by creating a barricade with the items and bum-rushed me! Very funny :)


Fun game! I'd like it if the guns progressively got stronger as more pickles came out rather than randomly switching between the guns. But I liked that there was variety to the guns. Also, having the ability to shoot up and down would be great. The concept was fun and funny and I loved the art!

Great little game! I liked the music and voicelines especially. You missed out on the punt "delay the inedible" it would have fit your game even more than ours! :D

It's a fun game a good concept it could use a little more polish like having the enemies react in some way to taking damage, and allowing the player to hold down the spacebar to shoot but for a game jam entry this is pretty good work!

nice game for your first ever. really liked the weapon radomization and the artwork was cool. it was fun to shoot everything and see it move. thanks for making the game.

Fun little game. I like the voice acting. It felt like I got overwhelmed by zombies really fast. Maybe it would be nice if the player would get some kind of power ups to at least have the feeling of having a chance at "winning" :smile:

So make the player progress in any way as well but still balanced enough that it stays true to the theme.

Anyway cool idea. Keep it up!

Ok, you have to make this "not pickling me" theme into some kind of Ghost Busters song. It's funny and pickly, a bit towelie also, anyway, nice approach to LD and zombie theme! I wonder, what if - when bit by a z-pickle - you could drink the pickle brine to cure?

Overall a funny and pretty well made little game.

You have uploaded two version of the game, and at first I started the wrong old version(Gunday.exe). You are allowed to upload the game again, and in this version remove the old version of the game.

had a score of 25, controls were ok, but im not quite sure of how you are spawning your enemys but it seems like where the spawners are of where an enemy is ment to span its collision box slows you down and you dont know why its happenning, and suddenly an enemyapears in front of you and instaa die. It seems that you spawn your enemys and make them invisible for a time and not be able to hurt you until they spawn. look up afew tut's on this subject, heartbeast has a shot hack and slash tutorial and in there he shows how to do a decent enouhg enemy spawning system. Weapons dint fell relevant for being diferent. but its a neat idea to work around. keep on developing, this expiriences are what make you a better developer. youll look back at this and youll laugh. or maybe show it as your firstgame when you make you million $ game sale interview xD! you got this.

really funny, pretty fun

Final score of 70! ^^ I liked the sounds of the guns: grenade launcher and shotgun felt especially meaty - and there was good variation between them all. Music was decent and the voiceover was funny. I liked the graphics, they were nicely done, and the animations were simple but effective. I think a couple of simple improvements that would add a lot would be to enable shooting in more directions (was a bit frustrating to not be able to shoot up) and also to stop them spawning literally on top of you (that cost me my first game). Overall great entry!

That was fun. The humor/audio was my favorite part :). I think a few more animations for the pickle would have helped the immersiveness but overall great job :) We hope to see you coming for more jams in the near future :D

As someone else already said, would have been nice if you could shoot up and down. The random weapon concept made things interesting
