We adjusted two things after the submission deadline:

  1. reduce the spawn rate of evil ships
  2. avoid overlap of evacuation counter in outro

This is the hardest "easy mode" I've ever played :D I like it :D

Intergalactic whack a mole. I like it! It gets hard fast. High scores anyone?

Lovely intro! :) I also enjoyed the tutorial! Had to smile about the different reasons the planet has to be destroyed, and the different spaceship graphics in the three modes! Neat music and graphics!

I think this game is probably a bit too hard. Making the difficulty ramp up more slowly could be good, or making the progress meters more visible as they fill up?

My best score after three attempts in easy mode:

@oernil @quite-good @blinry Thank you all for the feedback!

Maybe we trained a bit too much during the testing phase. The evil ship spawn timer is now reduced, so it should be a lot easier (we considered that to be a minor hotfix which can be done after the submission deadline).

Loved the colorful aesthetic and quality of the art as well as the morbid humor. I like that the difficulty level not only affects your health but also makes distinguishing friendly and hostile ships harder. It's also a big plus that each level has a separate antagonist and (very decent) soundtrack! I don't think there is any problem with the difficulty, as with games like these, most difficulties are fine because you would eventually lose either way. Of course the gameplay is simple but there is only so much you can do with whack-a-mole so for what the game is, there is not much to criticize.

Very nice entry. The different levels provide significant variations to the game though you could temper this somewhat by maybe having easy with 1-3 hits, medium with 1-3 hits and hard with 1-3 hits where each level kept the art theme from that difficulty to see if it gives you more variation without adding too much complexity. Music worked well with the gameplay.

Nice entry, the mechanics were simple and fun. The bus ship for people evacuating was a nice touch. I liked the cut-in graphics as well. Overall this was a good entry and solid game.

Are we currently on the trial version of Earth?...is it worth getting the full version?

The design is straight forward but still fun. The little details are very fun: the changing beverage type, the changing alien name, and the three different scenarios all tickled my fancy. I'm willing to chalk this up to using trackpoint or just being bad at these kind of games, but the difficulty really did ramp up quick. On all three difficulties I got to about the same level of rescued people before losing.

Overall, solid game!

Nice art style and awesome music! I like the whole premise of the game, pretty funny :) "This will significantly improve traffic flow!" is this reference to "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"? It was fun to play!

Liked this very much! It becomes exponentially harder, which makes it rather frantic. I liked the aspect of having to distinguish friendly and enemy ships, that you couldn't just annihilate everything you see.
Also some pretty art and funny storyline/style!

Nice game. I really liked how you provided different ship designs for different difficulty levels.

I like this! The humor is great, and it's a smart idea to make it harder to distinguish alien ships from human ships on harder difficulty levels. Even after the hotfix, though, I still think the difficulty ramping should be a bit slower.

Nice, fun game. Love the artwork! I also like how the enemy ships "blend in" more with the evacuation ships on hard mode.

I absolutely love the art and reasonings for why aliens want to destroy the Earth. Great game!

I liked a lot, simple mechanics but I had so much fun playing it, feel bad for all the evacuating ships that I destroyed during the attack
Great game!

I really adore the art and the game is super fun :sunny:

Sorry for the late comment, but I had to beat @blinry score first :yum:

Thanks for sharing this with us. I will surely play it as soon as I submit my essay assignments to the mentor. I have also found out about Edubirdie with the help of the https://youressayreviews.com/review-of-edubirdie-com-services/ website through which I am gonna hire an essay writer to write my essay assignments. And when I am free, I will play this game.
