ENG. «Prodosia» is a story-driven game that follows a group of jailors of a transcendental being who kept her in a controlled coma. But the creature begins to awaken and the jailers need to do something with it.

The game is fully voiced in Russian with professional actors.

Plot: Many years ago we have found a Goddess underneath the earth. With her help we entered the Golden Age: we ended wars, created nondiscriminated laws, disestablished governments, flew to the stars and remained among them. And our Goddess became the mother of all people. But some decided to remain orphans.

РУС. «Продозия» это сюжетная игра про группу тюремщиков трансцендентного существа, которое они держат в контролируемой коме. Но у тюремщиков проблема - существо начинает просыпаться и им надо что-то с этим делать.

Игра полностью озвучена на русском профессиональными актёрами.

Аннотация: Много лет назад мы нашли под землёй Богиню. С её помощью мы вошли в Золотой Век: мы положили конец войнам, установили справедливые законы упразднили государства отправились к звёздам и расселились среди них. А Богиня стала Матерью всех людей. Но некоторые предпочли остаться сиротами.

P.S.: За время джема наш композитор так и не нашёл майонез.

Ребята, очень круто, я как будто вернулся в детство и послушал "Модель для сборки". Очень классный сюжет, озвучка крутая, для 3-х дней шедевр.

Guys, it's really cool, it's like I went back to my childhood and listened to the "Model for Assembly". Very cool plot, cool voice acting, a masterpiece for 3 days.

больше игр с таким артом тут не видел. это круто. прям моё-моё. звук создает настрой. озвучка кинематографичности. но со своего мака через браузер толком не смог поиграть. правда когда запускал игру ожидал что что-то более рисованное будет а не 3D. but anyway

Странный рассказ. Мне очень понравился, но играя на русском языке я не понял всё - доказательство того, что обязательно я должен продолжать своё изучение русского языка. Все умерли из-за меня :) Ваша видеоигра напоминала мне другие повести, которые я прочитал когда я был молодой человек, в том числе научно-фантастические произведения братьев Стругацких и Андрея Тарковского. Голоса были отличны - вы настоящие актёры. Я хочу хранить в сердце это выражение ; Богиня стала матерью всех людей, а некоторые предпочли остаться сиротами. Вас поздравляю за то, что вы сделали. What an amazing game with a strange and immersive mood. I really loved it. It reminds me some stories which I read when I was younger, studying russian language. Well done - you deserve more ratings. This is one of my favorite entries for the 49th LudumDare. It fits with the theme. I wish you the best ++

@geckoo1337, We did English in a hurry, so there might be mistakes. Naturally, we will correct them in the future. It is a pity that due to a bug in the game, you cannot get a good ending. But we will work on it. Thank you very much for such a detailed review and kind words.

P.S. - You can also play in English - by changing the language in the menu.

Wow. Absolutely perfect mood and voice acting. That was incredible guys. I was terrified all game long as for the mother to wake up. Thanks so much for this entry, no way I'm going to sleep after this one, I need to forget about that mother ahah. Beautiful

This is a really cool premise, I feel like there's definitely room to explore this world/story further. The sheer scale and surreal aspects really draw you in.

Really the best story i have seen of all the entries yet. Interesting concept along with high quality voice acting, which is uncommon to see in these game jams. The artwork was really cool, and I think the perspective was pretty interesting. I liked how my choices had dramatic effect, even if I was unsure of my decisions. Well done, and I will keep an eye out for your future projects!

@quite-good, Thanks a lot. We had exactly this task - to make something complete and in a format different from the usual jam. We will try to finish this game and put it on Steam. And there, most likely, new ones will appear.

I don't speak (Russian?) but that voice acting was incredible. After I played I saw the comment that I could apparently switch to English. The art was absolutely stunning. My one criticism is that the white text was hard to read against the background. This looks like it took a ton of work and its amazing you got it done in three days!

incredible unique entry!! short, sweet, good writing, *amazing* voice acting, interesting story... it has it all, honestly. only (minor) complaint is that the text can be hard to read sometimes, would've benefitted from a dark outline

This is really impressive, the visuals are really cool, not to mention the voice lines. They really well done, I guess that is what professionals mean. The only problem I had is, I had a hard time reading all the text as the there was no outline on them or not a lot of contrast

Really good atmosphere, the sounds along with the graphic style really built anxiety in me and the actors sounded really good, I don't speak Russian but the feeling I had from hearing them was good, the narrative universe seems intriguing and I would like to see it further explored in the future. Very cool design for Mother she was creepy as hell! I don't know if someone already pointed it out or if you already know that but I experienced a bug when I clicked on the "Repeat" button after the first run, the game restarted but after the narrator finished the opening the game froze on that screen. I was playing it on the Bugfixed 86 version and with English language selected. Good work guys! Hope to see it complete soon on Steam as you mentioned above!

@donatello, Dear Donatello, first of all, you are my favorite turtle. Secondly, thank you very much for such a detailed review. This game is already the second in this setting and this universe (the first frankly failed and was on Ludum Dare 46), we plan to make games based on this universe and beyond.

We know about the restart bug, but thanks anyway for telling us about it. The more complaints, the faster we will fix it. Also thanks for mentioning the version and settings You played with.

I'm not too sure what I just witnessed, but I'm a big fan of it! The art in this game is simply something I didn't expect of a jam game, the sheer quality of the voice acting (I don't speak Russian, the production quality however did translate!), the intuitive gameplay... (I didn't really know what I was doing - finding corresponding text passages to mythological symbols, correct?). Wow! I love this so much! Thrilled to see the complete version one day!

@trexxak, Thanks! Every new fan makes us think about creating a new game in the same setting. At this jam we had the task of making something as non-jamish as possible. Translation into English was done in a hurry - if there are stupidities and mistakes, then correct us. We decided to do Russian voice acting for two reasons: we could do it - and we wanted to introduce more people to the Russian language. There is not much of it in games, especially outside of Russia - and for the most part it is distorted and voiced by non-native speakers. You got it right about the gameplay - matching symbol and text (and three options: success, failure and critical failure). We will definitely release the full version on Steam, thank you very much!

The voice acting together with the art made this game such an piece of art, its sheer quality and I loved, the gameplay feels intuitive and in the same way transpose an feeling of mystery, didn't expected find anything like this on a game jam, amazing

Now that's a unique entry! Very distinct art style and the fact that you got actual narration for all the voicelines is pretty great (even if I can't understand the Russian, at least there was English text). The music fit the mood perfectly and the story was very interesting to piece together.

The only thing that really confused me was the actual gameplay. Was there a way to know which one was the right answer each time other than taking a random guess? I feel like there was and I just missed it. Either way, I managed to lose the first playthrough and then get to an ending on the second attempt (are there multiple endings and I got a bad one? Or does it always have a bad ending? I won't spoil it for anyone scrolling through. :stuck_out_tongue: )

Aside from that, my only real suggestion would be to make the text not require so much panning up and down as I didn't realize I had to move my mouse down to see some of the things the people were saying.

All things considered, a really cool game! Well done.

@guitarbro, Thank you very much for such a great review. It was very pleasant to read it.
Most likely, the complexity of the gameplay lies in the very fast translation into English. There is a chance that we messed up with the translation. The updated version of the game will receive a high-quality translation into English - we promise that.
The game has two endings - good and bad. Due to a bug, the web version on itchi contains only a bad one. The bugfixed version for Windows allows you to get a good ending.
About the floating camera and text - we will try to fix this so that English-speaking players do not feel discomfort. Thank you for your comment!

Давно игра с джема не вызывала эмоций. Но у вас получилось!

Озвучка, графика, сюжет - топ.
Единственное - иногда не нативно по связям символов и предложений.
