Wow, It been 2 months I play Tetris everyday, I was so exciting when I seey our game, I love this new rule, the player must think in a different way, not just place the bloc. :)

I like the balancing mechanic, really fun use of the theme and a good twist on a classic. I never quite knew how much a piece would affect the tilt or how close to the edge I was. It would be interesting to maybe see how much of an effect this had on the lean visually. I also love the graphics, definitely synthwave-y.

@tinykidtoo The balancing mechanic actually took a lot more to get the feel right than I was expecting, I implemented the math a bunch of different ways, some of the first attempts were.....interesting...

Devilish, devilish mechanic. Forces me to change how I think about tetris, since the standard "stack all on one side and clear lines on the other side" is rendered useless here. Especially a fan of how the board never reaches equilibrium once you start clearing lines. Very nice job with this one!

What a wonderfully simple take on the theme on an old game! The balance element really messes up with all my intuitions about Tetris, and it basically forces us to change strategies entirely.

I love tetris. And this is the greatest idea you can come up with this game - balancing pieces by their weight! Also atmosphere and soundtrack are really nice

The twist on the familiar Tetris gives a fresh feeling. Graphics give a nice vibe. Personally I think music could use a bit more variety, but it's good nevertheless.

@raykon thanks! I had only one day to make 9 tracks, so I had to reuse certain elements from the other songs. The ear-fatigue was real lol.

I also wanted to keep the songs kind of short to keep the game file size small. Cheers!

Really changes the way you look at tetris, instead of finding the best possible place to fit your blocks you have to find the best possible place that also doesnt mess up the tower, really nice and forces thinking.

Absolutely loved it. Such a simple change can make a game mechanic I have been playing for 20 years feel feel so different. Having to think about placement for lines and balance was great!

Wow didn't expect this modification to change the game so fundamentally. The slow falling blocks and fast tilting makes it so tense to counterbalance the board back with a move that's at least not terrible :D

I've never been much of a Tetris fan, but this made it really fun! I think the extra layer to think about makes it more engaging for a casual Tetris-er like myself. And always a fan of online leaderboards, great job!

Tetris with a twist! I liked the weight mechanic yall added! Though I can't help but feel like the edge columns are worth more in weight than all the others? Feels like there is no center of mass. @polkoii you are correct, the calculation for weight per column is blockCount * distanceFromCenter, since there are 10 columns, a block on the outside is worth 5, compared to the a block in the center two columns that are worth 1.

Very interesting way of mixing a classical gameplay with physics. And I also loved the synth wave vibe.

I am a sucker for synthwave, and it's cool to put a spin on tetris because i've only played regular tetris ever. The soundtrack was nice as well, enjoyable game.

Good adaptation of a Tetris game but with the instability think. I would have liked to see some particle effects when cubes desappear as well as a sound effect. Funny game!

@cam-mrchl Thank you! We did consider that, but ran out of time! we focused on trying to polish the game instead of adding more details as the time to develop was running really short

@Hotowlgirls Thank you too! I didn't know i was making "synthwave music" if that's what you meant. I created music based on what our artist @miss-iiv suggested. I've discovered a whole new genre of music because of these 'synthwave' comments lol. makes sense though because i love many electronic 80s tracks. the music i created was a combination of: Miss-iiv suggestions & Tetris-worlds(LOVED that game) on the original Xbox.

So addictive. Very good, amazing how this new element doesnt break the game, it works really well. I played for a while. Managed to make it on to the scoreboard too.

@Trexxak I agree, it seems as you put it "very fitting" as you can't just stack on one side and clear the lines on the other, it has to be balanced. Thanks to @Zinnin for doing several hundreds of lines of math to make those physics work fairly!

I really love the twist on Tetris here, where the entire playboard shifts back and forth depending on the weight distrbution-it's such a unique take on the game that focuses people to play very differently. The artstyle is simple but appealing, matching the synthwave style (I actually did something similar for my own game). The music works well and keeping things lively. Overall, great job-I lost track of time playing this and managed to get onto the scoreboard with 55000. It's more addicting than it has any right to be, and I love it.

The is an awesome Tetris variant! It def makes it harder, because there are new ways to fail and it doesn't require a lot of misplaced blocks. Good job!
