Mountain of the Dragon Fruits by thomas-olsson
Lead the villagers across treacherous mountains as they gather precious dragon fruits for the summer festival! Not all of them will make it back to the village... Mountain of the Dragon fruits is a mouse-controlled puzzle game.

EDIT : Had to update with one fix to remove a mean input bug.

I did find one bug: On level 10 I could pick up the rock that was already in the level and it would glitch out.
But other than that this is a stellar game.
I also had some issues with the font as it was scaling in a weird way and it was pretty much impossible to read.
But man.. the art is amazing, the mechanics are well balanced and you were also able to come up with some neat puzzles. Kudos!
The animations and bonus gem objectives are excellent. It's also very smart to have a fruit requirement but not require all your guys to survive. I like that the levels allow you to be creative and solve the puzzle in different ways, with different numbers of survivors and with optional gems. There are so many good mechanics here, too, like the birds, the bridges of varying stability, and the spike pits. This is such a polished and well-made jam game. You should be very proud!

I just think I glitched out one level (with a rock in the middle, I was able to move it) ^^'
big shoutout to the old man waiting for his sbires to sacrifices themselves.

Every time you ran the level, you got _ever so slightly different_ results and sometimes it wasn't completable with the exact same pieces placed down :) But that's really a nitpick and the fact that this is a compo game is extraordinary.
Great work! I'll be sending this game to a few friends :D
The gameplay was super fun, too, and surprising! The challenges were not that tough, which allowed me to simply sit back and enjoy the brain teasers. I even laughed at a couple of the combinations. The town must have no shortage of strong, willing men to help gather food!

@ysendrin Yep that one is a bug. The rock thinks its on the UI layer hehe.
@profan Good catch. I also noticed but just figured it'd be fine. The game generally has consistency issues - it's quite delicate when it comes to games using physics :p
